“Good compromise for a stopover in KOS”
Reviewed 30 August 2013

Kos may often be a stopover location to go somwhere else (e.g. Patmos, Bodrum, etc) so this hotel is fine for a night's rest while you wait for the morning ferry. Open 24hrs (VERY important), rooms are clean, ours was not noisy, breakfast basic but ok. Price is competitive and it is very very close to port. You can walk to the ferries provided your luggage has wheels!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with Air Conditioning

Very friendly staff, excellent restaurant, on a main road but within 25 yards from the sea. Rooms are clean and a good size, reasonably priced. The hotel is very close to the Flying Dolphin quay, which goes to Kalymnos, Leros, Lipsi, Patmos and Samos, and also within walking distance of Kos Town and the main quay for all passenger vessels.

Room Tip: Try to get a room facing the sea.

Excellent for overnight stays, reception efficient and extremely helpful. Breakfast perfectly acceptable and The Avanti restaurant is worth a visit 10% off for residents.
Location is good for beach and Kos town centre where the square is a good place to people watch

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this great little hotel and have to say we have had a great time.
The location of this hotel can not be faulted, in a quieter area away from the hussle and busstle but still only a few minutes walk to the centre and all the restaurants and bars you could ask for.
The hotel has a relaxed feel with staff having a laid back attitude but still efficent and ready to help if its needed. Breakfast was good with the usual choices of continental breads, yoghurts, cheese, cooked meats ect.,. Our room was compact but clean and all we needed, no extra charges for the use of the safe or air con, a huge bonus for us. We had a view to die for with the scene changing on a daily basis as cruise liners and luxury yatchs came and went, no two days every had the same outlook.
If its five star luxury your looking for then this is not the place for you, if its relaxation with a view then this is the place to be.

Room Tip: Quieter rooms at the back of hotel, busy road out front but once doors closed the room was quiet and...

We had a great 7day stay at this hotel. Rooms are very clean, towels are daily changed and bed sheets every 2-3 days. The receptionists are very kind and they never refuse to assist when needed. However bfast is very poor and even if at the beggining seems to be ok,you realize that after a few days you get bored of the same and the same menu. another issue was the bed.we supposed to have a double matrimonial bed,but instead we got two singles moving wich made it impossible sleeping togheter. The air conditionong was free of charge, but didn'made any difference as it only blew warm air in the high humid air. Wirelles conection was free as well and better than in any hotel we staied before. overall it was a great experience as Kos island has lots of offerings and we did not expect a lot from the hotel!

I enjoyed staying here in the busiest week of the Summer season and was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews. Clean, spacious enough rooms by Mediterranean standards, air conditioning, wifi in every room. Staff very nice and helpful.
Good breakfasts with lots of choice. I would like to underline that bacon and eggs is not a Mediterranean breakfast so obviously the bacon isn't as good as in the UK or other Northern European countries. Fruit, yogurt, cakes, bread cereal display was perfect.
Closeness to town and ancient monuments. Bus stop to any place on the island 10 minutes walk away. Beach in front not the best but ok for a couple of hours.Italian restaurant at ground level(where you have breakfast) ok, decent what I call, international "italian" pizzas and pasta. Not very cheap.
