Stayed for 2 nights recently. Very friendly service from bot owner and the lady who serves breakfast. Nice rooms. All round very relaxing , small intimate and personal experience. Will definitely go back. ps if you have a car pre-book parking as Altea is not car friendly

Whenever we book hotels, it's usually the larger chains catering for the mass markets, so when we came across the Hotel Abaco, it could not be further removed from the feeling you get with larger operators. The welcome, service and helpfullness of everyone associated with Hotel Abaco just puts you at ease and makes you feel at home. The Hotel is full of charm and the varied room themes make you want to plan your next stay as soon as you have left. The location also, could not be better. Right by the old town with it's narrow streets and a restaurant at every turn. We celebrated our Wedding Anniversary and were greeted with Cava and chocolates on arrival, Champagne and chocolates in our room, and rose petals in the shape of a heart on the bed. Just plotting our return now !!

Room Tip: Just speak with Adelina and Thomas when booking and they will be able to advise you.

a little compact hotel somewhere hidden in Altea with a magnificient interior, adorable bedroom and a fantastic breakfast. A tourist delite governed by a professional hoteloperator.
Situated in the old town with a lot of restaurants nearby and close to the sea.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Abaco and had a wonderful time. The room (Moulin Rouge) had everything we needed and the stay was made for us by the kindness of the hosts, Thomas and Adelina. They go out of their way to ensure your stay is memorable. The breakast has a good and varied choice and scrambled eggs are made to order. Location is ideal for the sea or the old town and Thomas recommended some excellent restaurants. It is worth the climb to the top for the views of the bay. We will return.

Room Tip: Alll the rooms are themed and we only saw the one but based on our room they are all of a good stand...

We had a two night stay in room Moulin Rouge which is situated at the front of the hotel and although quite small had everything that you need for a pleasant stay and is especially quiet at night. Thomas the host made us feel most welcome and Rita made us a good breakfast to start the day. Lovely restaurants near by and also close to the beach. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to return again soon.

We loved every minute of our stay. The rooms are very impressive and a perfect showcase of what is possible when you put a lot of love into your hotel. Our restaurant recommendations were all spot on and we really enjoyed our new years party. The hotel is perfectly located between beach and old town (5 min walk each way) and also has secure parking.
