Great restaurant away from the busiest of the main old town. Would advise you to get there early to mid evening as we arrived around 10.30pm and only the starters were available. As we are quite new to Moroccan the owners were very helpful explaining what each dishes on the menu were. The food was delicious and we even ended up ordering two of the dishes again. The bread was home-made, warm and fresh from the oven. And the wine was the best and cheapest we'd had during our whole stay in Altea. Even though other restaurants may be better located, this one makes up for it with its fantastic food and hosts. Will definitely be going back on our next stay in Altea to try the tagines!

This Moroccan restaurant is slightly of the beaten track and is away from the others in Altea old town. The menu although small is typically Moroccan with roasted vegetables and lamb tangines. The couple who owned the restaurant advised on meals available and also on what wine to order.
The lamb tangines was very well cooked with the meat falling off the bone, the sauces were very tasty with just the right amount of spices. The bill came to €32 which included a bottle of wine,2 starters and a lamb tangines for 2.

Excellent restaurant, food was fabulous, we couldn't decide what to have there were so many good choices. The owner very kindly agreed to do us a little of everything 'tapas' style and it was all delicious, they even catered for our 5 year old!! The price was good too, very reasonable, we would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

At last a very good Moroccan restaurant opened in Altea. Small and cosy. It's run by a nice couple, and all is fresh and home made. Prices are more than ok. They serve a delicious couscous, tajines, roasted salad, and not to forget the best I ever had houmous and also a mouthwatering pastel. They serve Vin Gris du Maroc and of course mint tea and Moroccan sweets.
