27 of us have just spent another week at this hotel . We found the staff most welcoming and helpful. Food great . Absolutely spotless. Our room was lovely , everything we wanted ...a balcony , a bath , clean towels everyday and amusing duvet and pillow art each day !

The wi fi is slightly better now !

The area is quite superb for walking .

Would recommend this place summer or winter .

Room Tip: Side rooms are the best we think !

We had a very good holiday staying at this hotel over the New Year break and while it is a 10 minute walk to the main gondala/town center, the ski bus stops right outside the hotel. The food was good and the New Years Eve dinner was wonderful - the hotel made a huge effort to make it a special occaision. While the facilities are basic, it is good value and the rooms were a perfect size - 2 girls in one room, 2 boys in another room and parents in a larger room! Value for money.

We just stayed a week here . It was very clean and the staff were friendly . Shame they didn't have a bigger room for sitting in as there wasn't enough room for people to sit at night . Good food , especially breakfast and a large drying room . The rooms were very variable . We loved ours with a balcony and a bath even though it looked over the next door hotel . Others had no balcony and small showers. The most annoying thing was the wifi . The owner insisted it worked everywhere , actually we could only get it to work by the office downstairs. Good Internet would really improve the place.

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper avoid the front on the main road , but then there's trains at the bac...

The hotel is situated near the main road, about 1 km away from the center of Lermoos. The "mountain view" rooms are facing the road: expect somewhat constant road noise with the view to the distant mountains. The road side balcony rooms a spacey, very clean, nice and simple design (not those decorative alpine rooms), shower and combined bathroom is also clean and roomy. The balcony is 6 meters wide, so lot of possibilities to move plastic chairs with the sun. The staff can speak english so there are no language problems. There are about 10 car parking places at the front of the building: general size (that is "little small"). There should be more at the back but I don't if that's enough for all visitors when the hotel is full. On the minus side is the WIFI. In second floor it is flakey at best; disconnects all the time and you only get access by specifically asking for it from the desk. Don't count on doing anything other than checking your basic email with 300 kB/s speed. We needed Internet access to plan (maps.google.com etc) for our next day trip (stayed overnight), so please consider the overall 3 star rating as respect to it. With a little investment to the Internet structure this would have been otherwise excellent choice. Booked on the fly in previous day via booking.com (80 EUR)

The room was ok, and it was nice to have a balcony, however the room looked directly onto another hotel - so not much of a view. Though we didn't share a language we could tell the proprietors were lovely people. The setting was stunning, a very beautiful place.

The restaurant food was fine but over priced, and we struggled to select with no translation. The breakfast was good.
