Mary's friendly welcome and Mike's delicious breakfast made our (sadly) short stay at Lower Severalls most enjoyable. Willow, the ground floor room we stayed in, is large, well furnished and decorated with style and elegance. Comfortable bed, a little dividing wall to the sitting room area with leather sofa, Freeview TV, and kettle/drinks facilities. The highlight was the wet room bathroom, with glorious overhead shower and plenty of space to get nice and clean! The superb breakfast this morning comprised of a fruit compote, yoghurt, toast, freshly made pancakes, and a full English with locally sourced high quality bacon and sausages. The hosts are warm and charming, and spent time showing us the other rooms, and developments in their well-known garden which is open to the public. We're looking forward to returning for a longer stay soon.

we spent 3 nights at this bed and breakfast at the beginning of October 2012 and it was by far the best B & B that we have ever stayed in. The accomadation was superb and matched only by the welcolm provided by Mary and Mike. Everything about this guest house is first class. Go there, you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I stayed for only one night while attending a local wedding. We wish we had booked in for longer!
Mike and Mary are very friendly and welcoming. We had a first floor room which had recently been converted from the old stable block. It was very nicely decorated and spacious with a sitting area and the most amazing shower! There was even a small kitchen area.
Breakfast was the highlight of our stay - Mike is a great cook - make sure you try the pancakes!! Everything was freshly cooked to order with many of the breakfasts treats coming from their garden
We will definitely try and return in the spring when I imagine the garden is beautiful.
Thank you Mary and Mike

Room Tip: We chose the Jasmine room - but they all look lovely!

We stayed at the farmhouse for one night to attend a local wedding and wish we'd stayed much longer. The rooms are large, wonderfully furnished and even include a small kitchen area. The breakfast was fantasticl and included cereal, pancakes and a full cooked breakfast. The owners couldn't do enough for us, even cooking my husband lunch when we arrived as we hadn't had time to eat. I've already recomended this place to lots of friends!

all been said before on here but the breakfast really is amazing!!!! Four course feast..
We had the "jasmine" room, a huge room with a lounge area, comfy (a bit soft but that's just picky) bed and lovely furnishings and fittings. A fridge, sink and micro should you need it! Proper coffee with a cafetiere and fresh flowers on teh table too, little things like this make good, excellent... The bathroom was chic, modern style with a huge bath and seperate shower. VERY good value, much nicer than over the road at Haslebury mill, stay here if you are attending a function there without a doubt! Hosts are friendly, helpful and I would make a point to stay again soon if it wasn't 25 miles from home! I need a good excuse now :-)

go and see the pet pig too... he's so cute!

We stayed at Lower Severalls Farmhouse 21st Sept 2012. All i can say is..... AMAZING! We were down for a wedding at the Hasselbury Mill, the whole wedding party had booked the 21 rooms there so we stumbled across the beautiful Lower Severals. When booking, we were asked what time we wanted the room available for, we requested noon thinking that we were pushing our luck a little but this was no problem at all! We were greeted with a very warm welcome and were astounded with the "Lavender" room and all the facilities it offered. Wonderful shower, generous helping of assorted supplies such as shower gel, razor, toothbrush, tea & coffe, fresh milk and most importantly.... DECENT loo roll! (Clearly the small things in life!!) We came and went as we pleased and had a wonderful day at the Wedding before stumbling back to the most comfiest bed i have ever laid in! Breakfast.... HOMEMADE scotch pancakes, fresh berries, HOMEMADE preserves,HOMEMADE bread AND the best Full English i have had in years! All i can say is we would 100% reccomend this B&B to anyone considering it and after hearing about and then seeing one of the rooms at the Mill.... this wins hands down. For £85 (The Mill £90) this was in a different leauge and all out friends at the Mill were jelous! Shame Lower Severalls Farmhouse is not bigger.... they would make a BOOMING trade! We will definately be going back. P.S... If you have a dry day, take half an hour to have a wander around the nursery gardens, i'm not a garden fan at all but this was beautiful and we have come home with some wonderful photo's and memories. WELL DONE MARY AND MIKE!!! A bloody good job done by all!

Room Tip: All rooms are gorgeous so no need to worry! We nosied at all three!

My family and I were attending a wedding nearby and were lucky enough to stay at Lower Severalls for two nights...

The rooms were spacious, the decor warm and snug and the breakfasts......well the breakfasts were delicious!

One of my favourite moments of the weekend was coming back late at night from the wedding and seeing a shooting star outside of the B&B - the skies were fantastically clear, the air was fresh and clean and the views of the stars were amazing - something that we don't get in London!

Highly recommended.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review, so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us last weekend. Next time maybe you'll see the resident Barn Owl hunting as well as the stars, she looks amazing too!
