This was our 2nd visit this year and yet again we had a lovely stay. Room was clean, spacious and our hosts were as welcoming as ever with a cup of tea (sadly no lemon cake this time) but Glenda did apologise so all is good. Can thoroughly recommend this to anyone, you would not regret it!

Ashbourne Guest House is a very nice clean and efficiently run B and B. Welcome cup of tea on arrival is the perfect start. Room we had No.3 was spacious airy and very comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable and the complimentary tray was just perfect for our needs.Breakfast was very good as well with a good choice of cereals ,juice etc for a start and choice of full english or make your choice.Nothing was too much trouble for Chris and Glenda hosts.

I stayed for one night as was going to see Raymond Froggatt at the Princess Theatre. The room was lovely and spacious, Breakfast was excellent and landlady Brenda was very nice and helpful.
If I was ever visiting Burnham on sea in the future, this is the place I would stay. Fully recommend.

Breakfast was excellent
Glenda was a great, friendly host who was extremely helpful!
Thank You

We stayed at Ashbourne House as we were in the area for a wedding. We had a double room and our grown up daughters had another bedroom with two single rooms. Very comfortable stay, the bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. It was a beautiful sunny weekend, and the house was light, bright, clean and airy.

This B&B was certainly par excellence ! It was everything that one could possibly wish for away from home. Glenda and Chris, the proprietors, certainly made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The premises were totally spotless and decorated to a very high standard; the bedrooms were tastefully prepared, the beds were very comfortable, and there was always a very good supply of hot water for a shower / bath. Facilities within the room included various toiletries, ample provision for tea and/or coffee making, and a TV; an added bonus was the provision of WiFi. All of this, coupled with a thoroughly wholesome, hearty and well-prepared breakfast each morning, makes this an excellent place to stay ! So, thank you Glenda and Chris for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home: we will be back. Maureen & David (Chelmsford).
