The place creates mixed feelings.
Our room (deluxe seeview) had a good size and a quiet location though close to swimming pool and restaurants. When booking, one should be aware that the rooms differ a lot in size and location; some are quite far from the beach and very small, with obstructed view.
The room is finely decorated; no luxury, but good taste; bathroom is ok with bath and separate shower; airco + fan + mosquito nest create good comfort. There is also a comfortable balcony.
There are two pools, each serving one part of the hotel; the pool was never crowded during our four days stay.
The food in the main restaurant (buffet) is very good; quite large selection of wines, the red and rosé wines unfortunately served too warm; however an ice bucket solves the issue.
On the negative side, service is totally amateur (they simply do not seem managed); this is a pity, because there is a lot of staff and they are very kind; you can observe four servants talking together while you wait for somebody to take your order.
Idem for the check-in : more then 10 minutes playing with the computer with little welcome words.
One should know the hotel has a deal with an Italian travel agent and that 90 % of the patrons are provided by this agent; hence personnel seems to consider everybody speaks Italian and greet you with a "come stai ?".
As a whole, not bad to relax after a safari.
