This villa feels like a home not a holiday let as it's so comfortable especially inside and the quality of things like the bedding, cutlery and crockery only add to this feeling. It was immaculately clean and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine, water and a fresh fruit basket - thanks Gail.
The view is amazing almost panoramic of the coastline from Agios Nikolaos village to the left and Stoupa to the right and the coastline opposite over to Koroni. The villa is in a great location, slightly elevated to get that great view and only a very short drive up from the main road on a mostly concreted road. The infinity pool is lovely, of a good size and was warm thanks to a heatwave we experienced. It has a boutique hotel feel to it because of the furnishings in the bedrooms and bathrooms, lots of storage space, shower pressure was good too. The air conditioning in the downstairs master bedroom worked extremely well despite temperatures of 38C.
We enjoyed exploring the area including the Caves of Diros a great day out combined with a stop in Limeni and Aeropoli, Kalamata old town and seafront is definitely worth going to and we liked Gythio too a it's nice scenic drive to get there and a seaside harbour town lined with tavernas great for lunch. The area has not suffered from excessive tourism and is relaxed, welcoming and traditional.
There are many tavernas to choose from both in Stoupa and Ag Nik, which we preferred as it was a little quieter and more relaxing, although it's lovely to stroll along the promenade in the evenings before and after dinner in Stoupa and there are plenty of little bars there too. We would also highly recommend Orato restaurant set just up above the villa for a more fine dining experience.
Gail was very friendly and helpful in answering my questions when booking, both by email and phone and the directions provided from the airport were fine, it's a very easy and scenic drive, takes just over an hour. Erin the Villa Manager meets you at the villa on arrival and is then available locally for assistance if required.
We would stay there again without hesitation if we return to this area and would highly recommend it.

The uninterrupted views are amazing and the sunsets spectacular! We arrived in the dark, pretty late, and so right away and one of the first things we noticed was the wonderful smells around the villa - Sage, lavender, oregano, rosemary and many others.
Stoupa is still very small and charming and it doesn't feel crowded . What made our stay extra enticing was that the sea is crystal clear, you can see every rock on the bottom. here were no big waves or undercurrents to worry about.
In the evenings we could eat at home or decide to eat at wonderful Tavernas at the beach and in the hill towns. Delicious!
Sunset Villas are the best in the area in our opinion! We have chilled out and revitalised after a hectic year of work,. We loved every minute of our time at Sunset Villas and we'll be returning guests soon!

The villa is exactly as described, with directions provided by the owner to get there from your airport of choice. We stayed with another couple and the rooms were made up with quality bed linen, were air-conditioned (as was the main living area) and well-sized. The pool was fantastic; a good size and the rim-flow looked like it rolled into the uninterrupted view of the sea. Both Stoupa and Ayios Nikolaos are within walking distance (50mins and 20mins respectively) on an excellent coast walking/cycle path, accessible by a track through olive groves directly opposite the turning off the main road to the villa. There is a reasonable climb to get to the villa, but on road that is tarmac almost all the way and it looks worse than it is; to get the amazing views, you have to gain some height! Restaurants in both villages were friendly, good quality and value with several to choose from. Overall, we had an excellent stay and hope to go back soon. The area has not suffered from excessive tourism and is relaxed, welcoming and traditional. The local managers for the villa were on call and very helpful indeed.

We had a truly amazing holiday in this villa, which was extremely well equipped - the owners had clearly thought of everything that their guest could possibly need.. We enjoyed spectacular sunsets with a cold glass of ouzo and a beer or two in the evenings whilst looking out over the beautiful bays of both Stoupa and Aghios Nikolas and then enjoying superb local cuisine. By day we explored the Mani region, retreating to the tranquility of the villa in the afternoon to unwind and dip in the infinity pool - a true hidden gem!

This villa is truely awesome. The view is incredible especially at sunset. It really lives up to its name. The villa is clean and houses all the facilities you need including BBQ. This place can't be faulted. Furthermore, the owners are swift in responding to enquiries about availability and the their contacts in the area are available whenever. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Close to two cracking villages with great beaches and
tavernas. Loved every minute. Thankyou.
