“Superb in every way”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

Small restaurant away from the noise and babble with excellent service and all at a very reasonable price.

All food is freshly cooked, beautifully presented and well seasoned - obviously prepared by a chef with an eye for detail and a good palate.

“Hidden gem”
Reviewed 30 April 2014 via mobile

Almost hidden and set back between two others, but more than worthwhile the effort! Exquisite cooking, presentation of fresh products which delighted all four of us. Most appreciated was the chef coming to talk to us at the end of the meal. We will return!

“Avoid the tourist traps, Les Molieres is the place to eat in Gruissan”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

This restaurant truly deserves its high ranking and plaudits from other reviewers. Small and friendly with a chef who delights in his art, everything we ate was creative and delicious. There is a choice of menus priced according to the number of courses. We ate three courses for 30 Euros and everything was sublime - described by other reviewers but we have to mention the marinated salmon, sea bream in creamy garlic sauce, and apples "fondant" in Calvados. The service was excellent, not only were there extras "offert" (olives at the start of the meal and limoncello at the end) but the chef comes to have a chat with the customers. I really cannot recommend this place enough. With a pichet of local wine and coffees we paid just over 70 Euros for which price you can get a much inferior meal almost anywhere else in Gruissan. A must!

“French cooking at its very best”
Reviewed 27 October 2013

There are lots of restaurants around the marina at Gruissan, this tiny restaurant run by a charming French couple is a gem with a lovely position overlooking the boats. Two courses for 19 euros and good wine for 10 euros. The owner/chef is an artist, his dishes are sublime; try moules in a light curry sauce - unbelievably good, medalians of monkfish likewise. His wife is the maitre-d' and very helful, friendly and of course knowledgeable about the menu. We ate at this restarant three times in a week - why go elsewhere? Possibly the best restaurant I've eaten at - at any price.
