“Great stopover hotel at the foot of the pyrenees.”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

This is a great hotel to stop over before crossing the Pyrenees. Very comfortable and clean rooms, very large and modern. The food was very good, breakfast was of the usual standard for a Spanish hotel, the menu of the evening was excellent and very good value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I would definitely stop here again.

I probably would have tried a couple of other places first, had I read their website correctly. Instead of 26 euros, the price of the room is 36. It's 26 PP, in a double. When I grumbled a little bit, the Señora said she would include breakfast in the price. Since I already had a nice on-street parking spot a couple of doors down, was tired, and really didn't feel like going on a hotel search this evening, I agreed. The room is kind of an "L" shaped affair. The double bed, night stand, and the closet are at the base of the "L". Running along the edge of the "L" are a small luggage rack, a desk and chair, the door, and across from the door a larger luggage rack. At the other end of the "L", you enter the bathroom, which is very up to date. There is actually an enclosed shower stall with great pressure and a partially adjustable shower head. For a person of my height, I found the stall cramped and a bit awkward. It was hard to move around without banging into either the door or the wall. When I dropped my WC on the floor, I could not really bend over sufficienly to pick it up. I retrieved it after I was finished showering. The bathroom sink is new, but it's very shallow. If you turn the water too much, some water will go right over the edge. The room is well lit and the bed seems fine. There is a wall mounted TV as well. Even though I thought the price to be a little high, i have no problem giving it my approval.

Room Tip: My room number is #208.

This hotel is ideally situated for an overnight stay or a longer holiday as it is perfectly situated in the foothiols of the Pyrenees. Parking outside is easy and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy. The town has restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel. Its a very welcoming place.

Room Tip: Any room is fine as we have stayed there several times in different rooms and they have all been goo...
