Institut Pere Mata is a modernist building build by Lluís Domènech i Muntaner, one of the apprentices from the great architect Antoni Gaudí. In fact, Domènech i Muntaner is the same architect of Palau de la Música in Barcelona ('Music Palace'). In the outskirts of the city of Reus he build this psychiatric. The pavilion number 6 is the only one that allows visits. Domènech i Muntaner also has another jewell in the middle of the city named Casa Navàs. Both very well preserved places are a step back to the late 19th century. As far as I know, the Tourist office of Reus organises regular visits into these emblematic buildings.
