Lovely place with beautiful pool and new restaurant area. Rooms are clean and spacious and the grounds are well-kept and peaceful. Occasionally they played music in the pool area which wasn't to my taste but I think that's the norm! Bus stop just outside to go to Lindos (we preferred Lindos to Pefkos but Pefkos is nice enough too). The hill didn't bother us as it kept us fit! Didn't come in to much contact with the staff as we mostly ate out or cooked for ourselves. Very lovely relaxing break. Booked last minute via co-operative travel and saved a good chunk of money compared to other guests we were talking too. Got bus up to Rhodes City on the last day which was gorgeous. Well worth a visit!

The views were fantastic and the pool area and surrounding gardens were superb. As we went at the end of season, there were very few on site and the bar was rarely open but this was probably down to little demand for their services.

The rooms were clean but basic. Sheets were changed once a week as were the towels. On a downside the weather was overcast with some rain the last 3-4 days which meant that there was no hot water as this was heated by solar power! There are only two rings on a stove in addition to a kettle and fridge with ice box. Unfortunately no tea towel, dish cloth or washing up liquid were supplied. Untensils were also very basic as there was no can / bottle opener or bread knife supplied so self catering was restricted.

The balcony however had great views over the bay and Pefkos itself had numerous restaurants which were relatively cheap and mainly of a decent quality.

Our first time to Pefkos , and glad to say wont be our last. The Dimitris is a modern hotel with nice rooms all with sea views. We stayed on the top floor and had the best views over Pefkos. The pool is very large for the size of the hotel and was clean and never crowded. Always plenty of sunbeds to choose from when we were there, whatever time you got up. The bar has a great range of food to choose from and is a nice place to have a drink anytime of day. The hotel has Wi Fi which is free, although you do have to pay to use the pcs in the bar area. Only negative point was the lack of toilet rolls provided by the cleaner, ended up buying some from the local shop! Towels provided by the hotel have seen better days. As mentioned before, the hill is quite steep but was aware of this before we traveled so no problem there. The resort of Pefkos has plenty of nice places to eat and drink in the evening. We found the best place for a meal is Anixis which is also the cheapest place in the whole resort, for some where a special try the restuarant above the bakery, the food and service is very classy and the views are one of the best in Pefkos, although it is more expensive than some. Correlli hotel is nice but is a bit of a walk out of town, and for a Greek plate try Artemis Garden Restaurant. Hired a car for 3 days at G.A.M for 60euros and would recommened.
Finally would like to say hello to Mark and Lucie who we enjoyed the company of at the hotel, sorry we missed you before you flew back home. Karl&Lisa

These apartments were lovely so ill tell you the good points first, THE ROOMS are spacious and all come with a lovely view of the resort and the bay, but if you have a choice choose any room in block 3, which is the new block, we asked if we could keep our room until 6 oclock on the last day and this was not a problem, was charged 25 Euro but was told we could have the room until 11 oclock that night if we wanted so no problem there. THE POOL was warm and the area around it kept very clean there was always sunbeds available even when you came back from a day or morning out and the view again is beautiful. THE BAR also acts has the reception so when you arrive go through the gate and turn right, we saw a few people just standing inside the gate looking lost, the bar serves lovely salads and snacks and the food overall is very good, they do stop serving food at 5 oclock so if its your last day and you have a late flght beware, at night there is not much going on in the bar, a bit of background music and thats it, its more like a posh hotel bar really but sometimes after a night in the resort it was nice to come back and have night cap in the bar, its got a very chilled atmosphere so nice and relaxing, the bar closes at 1 am. THE STAFF i found to be very nice, some people didnt like the fact that when they are at work they dont smile enough, if you like the staff to be all over you like a rash and bowing at your feet well your not going to get it but I find that very false anyway, I found if you took the time to chat to the barmen they were very polite and offered some good info about the island and if you smiled at them you always recieved a smile back, simples.
Now the not so good, THE CLEANER ive never had anything like it, never replaced toilet rolls once we had to go to the bar and ask for replacements the same applied to the towels we had to ask for new towels on several occasions and I dont think she changed the bed sheets once, we got a new top sheet a couple of times during our two week stay but not the actual bed sheet, I dont like moaning and it didn't stop me enjoying what are excellent apartments but the cleaner did let the side down which is such a shame.
THE HILL now if there was one thing I could change about these apartments it would be its location, I know that they have the best view of the bay and resort and it is beautiful as i have said but for me personally I like to have walk during the day, maybe go and get a paper or go and have some lunch but that hill seriously restricted me from doing this, because once you went down the hill you then had to get back up, so going out for a stroll for half an hour just wasn't an option which spoilt it a bit for me, when we did go out during the day we stayed out for a while, I know you can get taxis up the hill but that would mean just popping out to get a paper would cost you 6 Euros, 2 for the paper and 4 for the taxi. If you dont mind relaxing around the pool all day or perhaps you hire a car then the hill will not be a problem to you but for me personally it was simply because I felt it restricted me slightly. Having said all that about the hill it is a personal opinion and I would reccomend these apartments, because not everyone finds the hill a problem so I would say go and see for yourself because its worth taking a chance on.
