Stayed at the evi on the 9th October for a week.was given room 302 which has a fantastic view of the sea.two double rooms both en suite. Had to walk nearly 20 yards to the beach but you can't have everything.the staff there are fantastic and so friendly.special thanks to taz yanni and heather, they made our stay special.the location of the evi is perfect only 200metres from all that is pefkos.we are already looking to book for May next year.if your thinking of going to the evi do so you won't be dissapointed.

Went to evi first week in October with my fiancée, stayed in 1 bed apartment in block 1 overlooking the pool, apartments are basic with small bathroom but perfectly adequate, cleaned daily, towels and sheets changed twice. What makes the evi special is the location(own little beach), loved pefkos nice and quiet with some very good restaurants, the owner of evi Taz and his staff are genuine nice people and nothing is too much trouble, add to that fabulous weather and whats not to like, would go back without hesitation.

Just returned from a week at evi with my fiance and 2 boys.....the 2 bed apartment was spacious shower room tiny but fine we chose this place as wanted to go to lindos and st pauls bay as we plan to get married there and its 5 mins in a taxi so ideal base but didnt want to stay in lindos chose pefkos as thought there would be more for kids but cant really comment on pefkos as a place as nobody there ...was like a ghost town it was nice and restaurants lovely but no atmosphere when only us there!!! fantastic location for apartments as just steps away from a little beach cove and far enough away from pool bar if you like peace and quiet as taz likes the music loud!!! Even in the day round pool its so loud especially when only about 10 people there and im not an old fart im 32 but coukdnt relax in day with it blasting out...we was shocked at how quiet it was though didnt have to fight for sunbeds etc even on beach which was great. ..just boys were abit bored as no other kids there didnt realise it was so quiet after sept would def go back at this time for a sneaky week without the boys though if you to a relax hol def place to go weather was amazing. The only thing in my opinion that annoyed me about this place was service......taz and the team was great dont get me wrong...we always had breakfast here as it was great and set you up for day and easy with my sons and chef eddie makes boiled eggs perfect and im jealous! But....from the time we ordered to the time we got our food was like an hour every morning and it did our head in....god knows how they cope when busy cos there was literally 2 other tables eating every day was a drag....an hour every morning sat waiting was annoying....and the rest of the food other than breakfast was not good one day we had tea there I got pizza which was half burnt and half cold so obv frozen and yianis didnt cook it properly and my partner got what was explained in menu as a lamb kebab with chips and salad garnish.....it was literally 2 long sausage kebab things thrown on a plate with chips no salad sauce finesse...so we didnt eat anything other than breakfast apart from a toastie and chips as we were leaving and even that was served to me on a small kids plate as he assumed it was for my son yianis again! Everything else was fab apart from food loud music and one last thing which is annoying was the way they smoke a fag whilst serving you your drinks......im a smoker and even I think thats not good....its unhygienic to smoke blowing it all over your glass not washing your hands first etc.....all in all fab place just on beach and for a cheap last min bargain id def stay here again but just pointing out the annoying parts!

Just got back from a week here. It was our first time in Pefkos and what can I say loved every minute of it. The staff Taz and his team are lovely people and so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Made some fantastic friends and will definately be returning next year. I even had some tears when we left. The rooms in block 3 have excellent sea views so if you can get room 306, 307 or 308 they have great views and are further away from the pool and bar. Karaoke and BBQ night not to be missed. Would highly reccommend this pefkos and Evi Studios to anyone

Room Tip: Block 3 has the best sea views

We, (two adults, three kids - 13, 9, & 5 yrs) stayed at the Evi in August for two weeks. We had a two bedroom apartment with a sofa bed for our daughter. The bedrooms were a great size, good wardrobes, drawers etc, loads of room to store cases, kids stuff etc. The sofa bed for the little one was huge!

We had a shower ensuite in one bedroom and a bath ensuite in the other, and yes they are a little small but perfect for all your needs! The apartment was cleaned everyday except Sundays and I mean really clean, it was lovely.
The Kitchen is small but has everything you need, you're on holiday & going out to all the great tavernas, not cooking!

The Aircon we knew about before we went so we were prepared to pay for it, as it had been budgeted for when we saved up! saying that we only needed one aircon unit for the whole apartment (you can have one in each bedroom )as it did the job v well.

Our apartment was ground floor with a little terrace with patio furniture, lovely to sit out on, in the block furthest from the pool, nearest to the sea - you could see to see from the room! Really peaceful.

The pool was excellent, and never too busy, kids loved all the different inflatables you could help yourself to and it was all very well kept and clean too. The pool bar is excellent and the food great and very reasonable prices too.
The BBQ evening was really good, lots of food!
Taz and the team really make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble.

We absolutely loved the position of the apartments to the beach, it really can't be beaten, a footpath straight down onto a sandy cove of four different beaches. Two little beaches first with sandy parts and pebble parts, then two more with lovely sand. All no trouble to reach. Loads of sunloungers, and one beach has a gorgeous beach taverna at the end, right on the sand! We went there a lot for ice cream/tea/beer!
Take your snorkel and swim over the rocky bits as the fish are amazing! Even saw a little Octopus!! Perfect sandcastle building sand as well as the really soft sand too depending where you choose to sit.

On your way back from the beach there's even a hose by the path so you can wash off the sandy feet, lilo, buckets and spades etc!

Pefkos has loads of Tavernas, we really liked Hellas, Tsambikos and The Artemis Garden. Tsambikos bakery up the hill is really good too. All did lovely vegetarian options for one of us.

We did great day trips with Rhodes Direct Holidays found on the high street, who were really helpful and the trips were very good value.

This was our first family holiday abroad, we really wanted the kids to experience a lovely warm holiday instead of rain! It was lovely and certainly hot, but that was not a problem when you had a beautiful pool to jump in and out of or a lovely blue sea to cool down in and a great clean apartment to return to at the end of the day, with friendly helpful staff on hand nearby too.

We read so many reviews before booking this holiday but are so glad we went for it and booked the Evi, it was such a fantastic holiday; location, pool, cleanliness, lovely staff, great times. Definitely Recommended!

Room Tip: The rooms in the block nearest to the Sea are furthest from the pool and very quiet.

Always say things as I see them and some times pre-warned is pre-armed. Although I was expecting it the rooms are very basically furnished bordering on alot of things needing being replaced. Arriving late and having to fork out for a studio appartment air con and safe for 2 weeks a massive 179 Euros could be a shock to families on a budget. In August I doubt many could do without the air con though.

Right thats the negative bit about Evi, lets be honest no where has everything right.

Fantastic sandy quiet beach to the back of the appartments 200 metres away. Tip take your snorkels you will not regret it. The pool area is great and serves great snacks.

Taz and the 'Gang' are what make the difference, the staff are so much fun and really want you to have a great holiday. Evi Studios Med Bar can depending on whose there be quite a night in its self. BBQ/Karioke night to be recommended. The bar seemed to be open as long as there was someone who wanted serving. So be preapred to creep past the bar on your way back to your room or you will be encouraged in!! :-)

Bars in Pefkos, loads of them, but very little most nights in the way of 'entertainment'. 'Pefkos by Night' to the right of the Evi on Fridays and Sundays had tribute bands so if the Beatles are on, it is very recommended, great night and placed was packed.

Restaurants. On the whole all very good. Most main meals seemed to be E9ish. So for a couple having a shared starter (tip - do this or you will spoil your main meal re portions trust me) 2 main meals, large beer, glass of red and a bottle of water was around E28-32. Our personal favourites were Coralli's (turn left and walk for 7-10 mins, you think there will be nothing there) very friendly, excellent food, can get busy so service can be slower that others but worth the wait. Georges and Spitaki's both very similar, nice location and well presented. Just off a side street within view of the strip is Lambis, very rarely busy downstairs but go up on the terrace, looks basic but food is superb.

Positive point of note - I have never been on a holiday any where there have been so many return visitors to a place. Some on numerous occassions. Many who could not get into Evi as it was full or by design were still regular visitors to see Taz and crew to be in their company which must say something in anyones money. We are very likely at some stage to return.

Tip - In August, there were no mozzies at all, it was to damn hot!! No still water anywhere nearby.
