We have been here a few times now over the years, the Greek Salad and house wine certainly makes for a relaxing afternoon - and that view is to die for

“Favourite in Pefki - wonderful setting and good food without paying a premium”
Reviewed 14 October 2013 via mobile

The best place in Pefkos - with a beautiful view and the sound of lapping waves below, calm and rustic ambience, friendly service and fab food.

Some good salad options, lovely full flavoured olives, tasty whitebait. Mains hit the spot too, with the special lamb on aubergine (12euro) a sublime creation. Usual kids options at 6e or less, and a very palatable house red at 12e for a litre.

It's on the edge of Pefki above Kavos beach (at the end of the main beach) so a bit of a walk, but worth it.

Quickest route from bottom of town is along the beach - it's probably just less than 10 mins from Kyma that way. Walk along the beach past the two sets of steps up near Philosophia, pretty much as far as you can get and take the left path up the hill. After just a few yards turn Right at the sign for Kavos beach taverna, go along the track for a minute and then turn left to reach the taverna. It's all pretty obvious as you can see the place, a nice walk too. A torch handy at night and not suitable for pushchairs. But can be accessed by road routes too.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed 19 September 2013

This restaurant is a little out of pefkos, we walked and enjoyed the walk down to the Kavos beach, were you will find this restaurant. It looks out over the see and the town of Pefkos. We both had a beautiful tasty and enjoyable meal here, in pleasant surroundings. But the walk back is up a gentle slope so was able to walk off those extra calories. Because of where this restaurant is away from main resort, it is quiet and peaceful. Well worth a visit

“So lovely”
Reviewed 17 September 2013

This lovely Taverna is just how we imagine an idyllic Greek dining experience. Beautiful views over the sea and mountains, especially at sunset, rustic and attractive setting and the food was good too! About a 15 minute walk from Pefkos centre, not too far. We were going to get a taxi back to where we staying (PBH) but didn't bother in the end, we walked and it was fine, if a bit hilly. The Taverna also manages the sunbeds on the small beach nearby and is a good alternative for a quieter beach day. Also nice to pop in for a drink on the way 'home'.
