After searching around the island and recommendations to visit Falaraki area for great snorkeling locations - we discovered one of the best right on our doorstep whist staying at the Island Blue hotel. Walk down the steps to the besch from hotel and goto the left coastline at the end of the beach (their are a couple of fishing boats based there). The coastline is shallow all the way along, with a grest mix of sand, rocks and old anchors etc to add interest underwater. Saw lots of fish, the biggest we found on the island and also numerous large schools of fish. Breathtaking. Highly recommended and far better than some of the suggestions found via google searching!

Beach/water itself is clean, sandy but like most of Rhodes does have rocky/stoney parts and if snorkeling 'snorkeling shoes' definetely recommended.

This beach is a narrow sandy strip with numerous sun beds. Get's busy during the day but is a quite beach with boats to hire but no other water sports. Easily accessible by foot and car park right next to the beach which usually has spaces.

Some shingle on the waters edge but otherwise sea is easily accesoble.
