Stayed for one week with my boyfriend for our first holiday together and couldn't have wished for anything better. Lovely room overlooking the pool and 1 min walk to supermarket. Huge beds and constant clean towels and sheets. All staff very friendly, reception went out of way to arrange late check out and Nikki the resort rep was fantastic help and arranged a beautiful table at a restaurant for my birthday.

5 min walk to beach although we walked 20 to st Thomas beach which is idyllic and quiet.

<10 min walk to restaurants and bars. Must visit is symban cocktail bar, went several nights and were very we'll looked after.

Would definitely go back and have some amazing memories!

What went well:
Daily maid service with clean sheets and towels daily
Super location right by the beach and reasonably priced supermarket
Very clean apartment with great power shower
Lovely clean pool
Well lit clean and tidy well presented
complex
Iron and ironing board and hairdryer
Great location as short walk 10 mins to main town Beautiful beach
Nice mix on complex of older couples, young families etc. Young single groups probably stay nearer the town or Lindos
Book exchange in Flavia restaurant
Maid service lovely and happy to wait until we left the room to clean

Even better if:
Air conditioning 62 euros for 7 nights or 9.50 per night very expensive
Safety deposit box 23.50 euros per week which is cheeky as boxes in every room already so only need a key
Late check out at 6 pm 38 euros. Normal check out is 12pm and thompson offer you a comfort room for half an hour to have a shower in so it is expensive
No wifi anywhere around pool or tavernas or bars near complex unless you walk into town where it is good signal in lots of places. You can pay for wifi by buying a card. Should be free.
TV only has bbc Wales and stv
Cutlery tray and drainer would have been nice
Essentials like sunglasses and suncream expensive in resort
Lovely holiday a little marred by profiteering management
Avoid any three courses for 8.90 euros as they are as bad as you can imagine
Nice places to eat locally include palm cocktail bar, cheap good good and nice decor
Everywhere plays 1980's music do take your own

A strange heading, Yes - but this is the first time these have been provided together with the little pot to add the water to the iron!! This shows the attention to detail in rooms. Ours was great - a large sunny room with a large balcony and with a really comfortable super king size bed with a good quality mattress and topper, a smaller room with two singles and a window plus two bathrooms which are quite small but a godsend with 4 women sharing !!!

We had a TV with English channels and even regional news - but thus was Welsh on one channel and Scottish on the other. The kitchen was a decent size with a dining table for four plus a brand new Black & Decker kettle, toaster and sandwich maker/grill . Everything was immaculate .

This is the cleanest accommodation I have stayed in in greece and the complex was clean throughout with well tended gardens with no rubbish to be seen anywhere.

As this is part of a larger complex you can choose from 5 pools to swim in - we only used 2 of these - only moving from ours to Island Blu to have a quieter day away from the pool music etc.

Every member of staff was polite, efficient and happy to help - we had our luggage delivered to our room which was about 20 m from reception and had more pillows delivered at12.30 at night. Reception staff were professional and helpful - happy to book taxis and recommended a great restaurant in Lardos.

Only one gripe- the resort has weddings so attracts large groups who can sometimes become loud and 'excitable' around the pool but when this became an issue one day this was dealt with promptly by the holiday rep from the tour operator who was exceptionally professional.

All in all a great place that we will all return to.

Perfect little hotel! Lovely staff, nice rooms over looking the pool. Stroll into pefkos which is minutes away for your evening meals. Glass bottom boat trip is highly recommended! Also take a trip to lindos, it's one of the most stunning places I have ever seen. Rhodes is a hour is so away on the bus aswel so take a day trip over there!

We booked with Thomson for a last minute self-catering getaway and found a two bedroom appartment for less than the normal studio price. We just could not fault it on anything. Large rooms, enormous double bed, friendly, hardworking staff, everywhere spotlessly clean, lovely location, not far from the beach (down some steep steps), small supermarket nearby, small town with good selection of shops, restaurants etc about 10 minutes walk away, lovely scenery, buses to Lindos and Rhodes nearby, cheap car hire office just outside the hotel......perfect for beach, pool, sight-seeing. If I had to struggle to find something less than perfect, then some of the music played from the 'swim-up' bar was pretty dreary, but that was no more than a pin-prick in paradise, just to reassure you that you had not really died and gone to heaven.
There is a half board option available. We tried a couple of restaurants in town and although these were cheap and reasonable, we preferred the food in the hotel's own restaurant, which was not a lot dearer and better quality. I think there was probably more choice being a la Carte, but I am sure the HB option would give equally good fare. You won't want to leave.

We have just returned home from Pefki Islands Resort, and we had a fantastic time. We had been there before 12 years ago, it was great then, but is much improved on. Now there are 5 pools and the Elia Restaurant was fantastic. Lovely, staff and good service. This is a family resort and not suitable for groups of party goes looking for nightlife.

We needed a break and I spotted a fabulous deal on a weeks bed and breakfast in Pefkos with Thomson flying from Glasgow. This took us to Pefki Islands, a venue we were familiar with having stayed several years previously at the sister hotel, namely Lindia Thalassa which is literally across the road.

The rooms were very clean and had an excellent fridge for keeping a stock of cold Mythos or some champagne for the pre breakfast Bucks Fizz. The beds were firm but still comfy. The shower is excellent but a little cramped. Our towels were changed every day bar Sunday, and were soft and fluffy.

I am delighted to say Pefki Islands had upped their game quite a bit since our last visit to Pefkos by building the Elia restaurant at the rear of the premises we knew. Elia is simply stunning, and the staff working there are an absolute credit to the place. We were made to feel so welcome, and all of the staff very quickly were treating us as if we were old friends.

The food is excellent, and easily comparable with any of the good restaurants in town. Prices were on a par with the town, possibly slightly more expensive for some dishes, but the quality was excellent. Breakfast is taken there if you are on B & B or half board, and is a buffet with an excellent choice.

Our only slight moan was the volume of the music by the two main pools. We prefer it a little quieter, but again, Elia comes to the rescue having a superb pool surrounded by cushioned sun beds, and the music volume is lower. I was aware of some older guests complaining about the noise from the pool bar near reception at night. My wife is a very light sleeper but coped admirably, and it was generally people laughing and having fun rather than screaming and fighting, so we were not concerned and our room was on ground level almost opposite the bar.

Nothing to do with the hotel, but as a bit of advice to readers is the excursion costs. We felt Thomson's excursions were very expensive even by their normal standards. As a result we booked two trips via a travel agent on the main strip. The cost was literally half of that asked for by Thomson. The coach picked us up a few hundred yards up the hill from the hotel and was bang on time each time. The guides were great, and the coaches immaculate. I regret I lost the card with the agents name but it was on the main street.

No hesitation in recommending this accommodation to any reader who needs to relax and chill out.
