Love this little beach, so clean and easy access into the Sea.
The Kantina is just perfect for a cold drink and snack at lunchtime( great to get out of the sun for an hour)...Plenty of beds and shades if you want them ( 8 Euro for the day) great place to spend time watching the world go by.

Stayed for 2 weeks in August 2013 in Pefkos and although smaller preferred Plakia to the main beach. Spent many morning drinking ice coffee and having snacks in the lovely beach bar. Overall beach was lovely and less crowded then main beach. Water clean and crystal clear with little fish swimming near the rocks. Would definaterly recommend if staying in Pefkos

We came here for most days, most of the time beds were easily available but the two old guys on the beach were always happy to help out if we were struggling to find a bed - 8 euros for the day. Lovely little beach bar at the end of the beach , perfect for a cool down when its gettin too hot! Nice iced glass of beer and a toasted sandwich - bliss!
The sea is beautiful, great to swim in every day, so clear!

A quiet beach that can be reached from the Pefkos to Lardos road, or as we did by clambering over the rocks from the Glass Bottomed Boat Bay! (I'm overweight, over 40 and very unfit so it's not too difficult!) The sand is slightly coarser than Pefkos beach, but the beach has a similar shallow shelf into the sea. There is a bar serving drinks, sandwiches and burgers, which is excellent value considering it's only option, with a lovely little waitress (the owner's young daughter, who doesn't reach the top of the bar!)
It was very windy when we visited, to the extent that I thought I was getting a free dermabrasion treatment at one point! I'm sure that was just the weather rather than the bay though!

Plakia beach adjoins the slightly smaller AG Thomas beach and both are lovely sandy bays. Nice, modest size too, not massive expanses. Umbrellas and loungers are there, but easy enough to get a shoreline space without them too.

There's a shower at the start of AG Thomas beach. It can be accessed either by the small downhill road from the main bus stop at Pefki by Night, or along the coast from the glass botted boat with some rocky clambering and/or shallow wading.

The toilet on the beach is a derelict write off. Better to buy drinks/snacks at the nice cafe bar on the beach and use their's.

Loved the snorkelling here too, bit better than on main beach as more (and obvious) rocky outcrops in the sea. Lots of beautiful little multicoloured wrasse (rainbow wrasse and
others), loads of different sea bass, shoals of tiddlers, the odd octopus and small groups of trumpet fish/ cornet fish (needle shaped silvery things from 1-3 ft long that look weird but are harmless.). Plenty more too.

A beautiful place to spend time in and out of the sea
