Recently returned from the Lindia Thalassa after a family holiday with my wife & 2 kids and we all enjoyed our stay.

The best thing about the place is that staff, everyone from the guys & girls behind the bar & cafe at the pool, the girls in the little supermarket, the waiters and waitresses in the restaurant and the reception staff; everyone is so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
But special praise must be go to Maria Makiari, the head receptionist, she was fantastic; she arranged everything from taxi transfers from the airport, restaurant recommendations & reservations and even managed to get me a Blackberry charger after I’d left mine at home.
(This in no mean feat in Pefkos as the nearest phone shop is in Rhodes Town!)

We booked through Thompson and paid an extra £250.00 for a sea-view, which I did think was a bit steep, don’t know if I’d bother doing that again as nearly all the apartments seemed to have nice views. Our apartment was on the first floor of block A, in fact that was our apartment on the TA picture of the Lindia. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and was cleaned every day. Twin beds for the kids in one room, a small kitchenette and a double bed with balcony in our room.

We upgraded to B&B when we arrived, which was a great move especially as the kids went free. The breakfast was a hot and cold buffet of really high quality. Well worth the extra.
Outside our apartment the steps lead down to the beach, it’s quite narrow when you first get down but widens out the further down you walk. 8 Euros for a couple of loungers and an umberella.

Greek night is well worth a go, the food and entertainment was excellent.

All in all a great family friendly hotel!

Room Tip: Block's A & B are quiter. Well worth paying the extra for the air-con if you're going i...

My wife and I spent two weeks here this year and this is our second year in a row. We found the hotel to be welcoming, the staff are friendly and obviously take a pride in their hotel. Nothing is too much bother. The rooms are a good size and of a good standard for Greece. The rooms are cleaned every day except Sunday which is the cleaners day off, we got fess towels every day. The pool is nice and the swim up pool bar is hand, nice cocktails which kept my wife happy. Stavropol behind the bar is very friendly and works hard at providing good service and making you feel welcome. The snacks/lunch menu could do with a bit more variety but not a major issue. A lot of the balconies don't have great views and ours this year didn't catch any sun which was the only down side. It wouldn't put us off going back again, my wife is already talking about booking again next year so that can't be bad! There is the added bonus of the beach being 2 mins away.

Room Tip: Little I can say here, you can get one of the limited sea views but need to pay a premium and there...

My wife, 14 year old son and me have just come back from our 14 day summer holiday at the Lindia Thalassa. We were in Block D and over looked the pool. The sheets and towels are changed daily (except Sunday) and the whole complex is very clean and tidy. The staff can't do enough for you from Reception to Restaurant and a special mention to Rebecca, Maria and Poppy who went out of their way to make it special. I have never ever been somewhere before where everyone bends over backwards to help and nothing is too much trouble. Everyone there works so hard to make your holiday enjoyable.
We went with Thompson and our rep Dianne was excellent and so were all the cabin crew - Thank You so much.
Although service was great in pool bar the quality of the food was poor and so was the choice.
The holiday was reasonable but with all the "add ons", safety deposit box, air conditioning and 6pm check out (we left at 8.30pm) it soon adds up and I would prefer if it was included.
The entertainment in the evening was also poor with the exception of Greek Night which was fantastic and would recommend.
We will definitely return - Thank You so much to all the team at the Lindia Thalaasa.

Room Tip: Go to Greek Night Go Bed and Breakfast - Fantastic Choice

Just returned from lindia thalassa and it's a beautiful resort. Spotlessly clean, the cleaners never stop, and well maintained grounds. E-mailed resort in advance to request a sea view and ended up in block A with sea views perfect, right next to steps to beach which really weren't a problem. Our friends struck up an early morning converstion with the gardener and at times we returned to cut flowers in our rooms - it's these little touches that set this resort apart. My two criticisms would be - the beds - they are rock hard and we didn't sleep well for the full two weeks, and the extra charge for the air con - we have travelled quiite extensively and can't remember being charged for this before it really should be included in the price of the holiday especially in july and august. I need to say these are minor critisisms we had a great time and would definitely go back.

Would definitely return here in the future.

Room Tip: E msil in advance for sea view or request blocks A or B awsy from pool

Dear Guests

Many thanks for taking the time to write your great review of your recent stay with us here at the Lindia Thalassa resort. I am very happy that you had a great holiday here with usb in Pefkos.

Thank you for all your comments which are very much appreciated and will be reviewed of course. Thomsons will not include the air conditioning in the holiday prices for self catering units here unforatunately, this has been discussed previsously.

We look forward to being able to welcome you back to the hotel in the near future for another great stay with us.

Kind regards

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Linida Thalassa Resort mid June 2013. We are in our mid to late 20s and had an amazing week's holiday in Pefkos. Apartments are spacious (we had a 2 bed apt so it was extremely spacious for us!) and very clean; complex is set in attractive, well kept grounds; pool is a good size with plenty of loungers/parasols and an excellent swim up bar that serves delicious cocktails. The staff are also excellent, particularly Maria on reception who went out of her way to be helpful. The Lindia Thalassa is located on the cliff edge and has a little viewpoint area which is a beautiful place for watching the sunset with a glass of wine before heading out to Pefkos. During the day you can access the beach via some steps which take you straight down in to the (shallow) water. From here you take a short paddle through crystal clear, turquoise waters to get to the beach all within 5 mins of leaving the pool, which is great if you fancy a wee wander when it gets too hot to keep sunbating!

Pefkos itself has plenty of great restaurants (our favourites were Artemis, Dama Dama and Aphrodite) and an abundance of good cocktail bars (we particularly liked Palm, Oasis and The Rock Bar beside Oasis). We went to Lindos during the day on the glass-bottom boat trip then again on a different night and would thoroughly recommend doing both. In hindsight it we would have went to Lindos on 2 nights because it really was so beautiful dining on one of the rooftop restaurants beneath the illuminated Acropolis. Pefkos is great but in mid June was fairly quiet later on (although the bars were all still open and welcomed all custom) whereas Lindos has a bit more of a buzz to it. The Lindia Thalassas is a great base for exploring both places however with taxis costing around 10euros.

The only criticism we have is the price of the air conditioning. You pay per room, not per apt, costing 65euros per room for the week so this would be 130euros if you were to switch it on in both bedrooms. You also don't get any deposit back for this or the safe so an extra element to add on to your holiday cost.

Other than that a really great place to stay in a beautiful part of the world - would not hesitate to recommend!!

Thank you for all your comments which are very much appreciated. The air conditioning is sold per unit as not all apartments have full occupancy and not every guest wants to have the units on in both rooms. Also if you only pay for one room but have 2 units on then this is double the electricity use and costs.

We look forward to being able to welcome you back to the hotel in the near future for another great stay with us.

We (myself, husband and 2 teenage children) have just returned from a weeks stay at the Lindia Thalassa. We stayed in Block A which had a lovely sea view and was nice and quiet. The apartments are spotlessly clean, light, airy and spacious. The surrounding grounds/gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. The onsite supermarket is very well stocked and very reasonably priced.
We spent most of our time at the beach as it's only a two minute walk away, you can hire two sunbeds with umbrella for 8 euros. The beach is lovely, really clean even when it was busy you never felt crowded.
Pefkos itself is a really nice family resort with a good selection of restaurants and bars. We tried several restaurants (Spitaki, Terpsis, Hellas, Artemis) all of which I would recommend. Lindos is a 10 min taxi ride away (8 euros) and is really worth a visit, very pretty town with a typically Greek feel to it. We ate at a lovely roof top restaurant (Mythos) which had amazing views over Lindos. The food was fantastic especially the Kleftiko and Moussaka.
This was our first visit to Pefkos and Lindia Thalassa but I can safely say it won't be our last, we loved every minute of our stay. I would definitely recommend Lindia Thalassa as I think it has something for everyone as does Pefkos itself.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable week's stay at the Lindia Thalassa, staying in B block, just a few strides away from the steps leading down to the beach. This was a family holiday for myself, my husband and our teenage daughter aged sixteen. We asked by email about ten days beforehand, for a quiet room, away from the pool, with a garden view or sea view and were very pleased with this room, which was a studio with a double bed and a single bed, a shower room and a small kitchenette area with a kettle, a toaster and a toasted sandwich maker. The receptionist remembered our email as we arrived and we were made to feel that they had done their best to meet our request. Everywhere is kept very clean and our room was spotless after the daily maid visit. Our only criticism would be that we found the beds quite hard and therefore didn't sleep that well. Apart from this, everything we had read about this resort before booking was spot on: friendly, smiling, pleasant staff, lovely grounds, useful, well stocked supermarket, excellent location just above a sandy beach. We would recommend Elia restaurant, having dined there twice and Enigma restaurant in the town, where we also had two very good meals. This resort would suit just about everyone, in our opinion, as there are quiet spots if you want a chill out break near a beach, reading and strolling around a pleasant resort, but if you want a lively time, Lindos is a short taxi drive away and Pefkos offers plenty of bars.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in A or B block if you want a quieter room away from the pool and nearer the sea.
