We have been in Pefkos Garden for 2 weeks in august. We liked it very mach. Beautiful gardens, absolutley normal food, good personal. Lovely dog Ladi, who walk with us every morning to the beach. Sea is fantastic! Only one real problem for us was very loud music from 22 to 24, because we go to sleep earlier. Other people and even there small children have no problem at all. Don´t worry! The place is the best on Rodos.

what really do you all expect for a 3* hotel? I was a bit anxious before coming after reading all of the terrible reviews. On arrival - there wasn't a room available for us, but we were taken to an apartment only 100m away from the hotel for one night until our room was ready. Yes - the food wasn't amazing, but keep it simple. For breakfast there are croissants, fruit, bread, ham and cheeses - all sorts available. For lunch and dinner there Is a full variety to choose from.
I saw someone cleaning out the pool every single morning whilst I was there - so there was no worries about that. The staff were all very friendly. Barbara is absolutely hilarious! Laddi the dog was absolutely lovely, although he does bark occasionally and howl, there is nothing to worry about as he is so friendly. Amazing views from the restaurant. Just a short walk from the beach and Pefkos village where there is also some lovely restaurants. The only negative thing I would say is that the cleaners come anytime during the day, and just walk in without knocking - so be aware! I would definitely go back again - and like I said before, what do you expect from a 3* hotel?

When you book a 3* hotel you dont expect luxury however you do expect it to be clean.
We arrived and were checked in by the most miserable greek receptionist in history.taken to our room only to discover that it the bathroom was dirty.shower full of mold, sink was the same but the worst was that the sheets had blood and mascara stains on them.i complain immediatly and the bedding was changed but the room was still dirty.i had to go to the supermarket and buy bleach wipes for the bathroom.
The AI was a joke.breakfast was covered in flies and wasps as nothing was covered.it amazes me how some people can take food from a tray that has flies on and eat.each to their i suppose.lunch time was not better with dry bread, ham and salad left over from breakfast and what we were told was chicken.i really dont know what it was.needless to say we never bothered again or tried the evening meal.the pool was murky for the first 3 days then they decided to clean it.
Drinks available from 11am but alcolhol started at 12.snacks from the bar were dry bread with a piece of ham and cheese slapped on or biscuits.the did have a sandwhich toaster but refused to make toasties.the barman was the only staff member that smiled the whole week even the owner who lives on site walks past without a smile.as mention in previous reviews she does have a dog but it is not aggressive and dosent bother anyone.
The cleaner, and i use that term loosely came for approx 4mins a day to put towels in room.no cleaning or mopping in a week and sheets werent changed at all.
I found out that this hotel was closed by health and saftey in the last 2 years but i dont think this has made a difference to the way its run.
The only good point was the location near to town.the town.is great with lots of bars and resturants were you can get a good 3 course meal for under €9 and most places have good play areas for kids.
Dont let this review put you off pefkos just DONT STAY HERE

We booked this hotel 8 mths prior to travelling, having read the reviews we began to have some doubts leading up to the holiday date, especially as my daughter, who went in June, was turned away on arrival, at 3am and taken to an annexe 10mins away where we had to stay for the duration of her holiday. Nevertheless, she enjoyed Pefkos and this compensated for the 10min walk everyday to use the hotels facilities and all inclusive option which she had booked.
Anyway, we arrived at midnight with open minds after a\ tiring journey to be told, 'no room over booked' we had to go somewhere else. The man on reception was very stressed, apparently it was a regular occurence and it was his job to pick up the pieces. We were bundled into the imfamous white transit van and taken to another location on the resort at the top of a very steep hill where we remained for the duation of our holiday. Fortunately, we were lucky, other than the hill, we were able to enjoy ourselves in a lovely apartment and looked after by some smashing people, we have since heard that this is a regular occurence by Pefkos Gardens. Personally, I will NOT be booking to stay here in the future as I like the security of knowing where Im staying, on the otherhand, I cannot recommend PEFKOS VIEWS enough.

We arrived at 1am to a pretty unorganised start and two couples on our coach transfers
We're told the hotel was overbooked and were transported elsewhere but as a family of 4 we were allocated our room. The staff were great and made us sandwiches and pizza. The hotel is very Greek and the location and gardens cannot be beat. The gardens are full of fruit trees and very natural. The food is Greek and we loved it. There was a variety of hot and cold choices and plenty of salads, olives and fresh bread every day. Our children are 8 and 11 and they loved the food. The waiters couldn't do enough for us and Barbra the owner made such a fuss of our daughter. The restaurant is on the terrace and has beautiful views of the sea.
I am not particularly a pet lover but the dog was gorgeous and so soft.
The pool was cleaned daily and was immaculate.
I tried to change my booking prior to this holiday based on the bad reviews I had read but all I can say is thank goodness I was unable to do so as this was one of the best holidays we have had.
Remember this is a three star hotel and although it may not have the trimmings of some newer hotels it is a place to completely chill out and relax. If I was to make an improvement it would be to have some entertainment for the kids in the evening.

Arrived August 5th with 2 rooms booked. We and everyone who arrived with us were told that no rooms were available for the duration of our stay. We stayed at the Apostolis Studios nearby. From what I saw the rooms we were in were bigger , better and had free air con. (7 euro a night Pefkos Garden). This is wholesale overbooking so why book to go there? I met loads of people (mainly British) who were in the same position. No way to start a holiday .If you were elderly and/or disabled you would be screwed. Don't bother.

Room Tip: You may not get a room in the hotel, you may be located in studios outside the hotel
