We had a family room, 2 single beds in one room and 2 more in the lounge. The room was lovely, clean and tidy. They provided free sunscreen and insect repellent. The coffee, tea, sugar and not chocolate weren't the crappy type you'd expect from a small less expensive motels. They even offered me free wireless Internet, normally $10.
My family were very happy with the room. Would definitely stay here again if we were passing through.

Stayed one night after cycling the Hauraki Rail Trail from Paeroa. Lovely, clean, tidy motel with unexpected extras like mints and biscuits. Managers very friendly and helpful. Happily stored our bicycles in their garage so they were secure and were happy to advise us on places to visit and restaurants they recommended. Shower had amazing water pressure and even air conditioning which was appreciated on an extremely hot day.

We stayed at Te Aroha motel for 2 nights as part of a group. We had room 1 which was upstairs. The motel is quite old but has been nicely renovated. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed plus more! I was pleasantly surprised to find a good quality hairdryer and power points in just the right places, like right next to a large mirror.
The extra little touches i.e. the cookies and mints, were greatly appreciated. The staff were very helpful and friendly with knowledge to impart regarding the town and its amenities.
Te Aroha is a lovely quiet and clean rural town nestled under Mount Te Aroha. We are hoping to return next year.

Beautifully located in the heart of the historic town of Te Aroha very close to the magnificently restored volcanic hot water Victorian Spa and fabulous bush walks. Rooms are very clean and exceptionally well serviced. Very friendly and helpful owners are a pleasure to stay with

Room Tip: Rooms with separate bedrooms only have single beds. Lovers beware!!

Real and genuine Kiwi atmosphere and service at it's best. Different members of our family have stayed at this motel numerous times of the last 2 years, and we all just love it. Christine and Arnie are just perfect hoteliers - they are warm and friendly and really care about their guests. Sue who assists in the day-to-day property management is an absolutely delightful lady, and Ginger, the security cat, keeps a friendly yet attentive eye over all 'comings and goings' at the motel.
If you want real Kiwi hospitality, against the backdrop of a beautiful mountain that generates the most stunning air, in a wonderful township...then this is the place to go - without doubt.

Room Tip: Suites facing the mountain are a little quieter at night, however, rooms facing the road get more vi...

Very helpful people at Te Aroha motel. Clean, well appointed units. Internet was freely available - a big plus, compared to mane places we've been in. Huge bed was comfortable. We were cycling on the Hauraki Bike Trail so it was good to have a comfortable accommodation at the end of a long day. Hot pool was great too, and good food at the hotel over the road.
