Nice little motel in the center of Te Aroha, very close to everything. Tidy and clean room, family unit, however the "parents" room had 2 single beds, not a double etc which was a bit strange. Friendly and helpful staff. Only small problem was the people staying 2 doors from us. I don't know if they were locals or just satying at the motel, but they would come and go throughout the day/evening and drink outside palying cards. They were very loud and noisy. I tink they may've been visiting someone staying, or perhaps lodgers. They did quiten down about 10pm so we weren't actually bothered by them. We just thought it was a little disrespectful, also playing the bass very loudly at 8:30am from their car parked outside is not on.
