My first visit with a large group

This Hotel has so many good points
Great Beach with free sun beds Food is very good and good value . Loved the breakfast with a great location . Themed nights were good .

Staff were very friendly Beach bar stood out . Rooms good and clean with a fridge sea views to die for . The older room pre upgrade a little tired but fine .

Good value you will enjoy

Room Tip: Choose the rooms that have been upgraded worth the extra $$$

Dear Friend, I enjoyed reading your short and clear review. Thanks for sharing with everyone. I am really happy that you enjoyed your stay and that you can recommend us to others. Coconut Court is a labour of love and we are not stuffy or pretentious (thank goodness! If you want that please head to the West coast). Our guests will enjoy clean rooms, friendly service and good value for money. Thank you for choosing to stay with us and please come back and see us again soon. All the best to you and your friends for a really great 2014.
One love, Linda, Jason, Mark and the Coconut Court team of fabulous folks!

The coconut is a no frills hotel which excels through its people and location. The rooms are basic, but spacious and clean. The beach location is superb and quiet for the long days sitting in the sun!

What really makes the hotel is the fantastic staff and the relaxed people the hotel attracts.

There have been many reviews on this site singing the praises of Antonio at he sea grape bar and he is without the soul of the 'relax and enjoy' vibe, but John, Mark, Oucz, Maurice and the friendly receptionists all made, as a single traveller, a great experience.

A shout has to also go out to some of my fellow guests who also made this a great experience. Peter, Maureen, Bryan and the master of ceremonies, Johnny Walker

I write this with just a day left of my trip and have to say thanks to everyone at the Coconut, I'll be back.

Room Tip: The hotel is close to the road. Get an Ocean view and some ear plugs and you will be fine

Oh wow, thanks for such a lovely review singing the praises of our staff. I couldn't agree with you more - our staff and our lovely beach create the magic at Coconut Court. And you are right, we have wonderful guests too. We are not a typical cookie cutter, all inclusive, razzle dazzle hotel and we do not attract the guests that are looking for that. If you want a relaxed atmosphere, big, clean rooms with killer views (Ocean View Studios, Ocean Front Rooms and Superior Ocean Front Rooms) and genuine, friendly service then Coconut Court is your place. look no further, you have found your Shangri-La! We are a place for the Young At Heart!
Come back and see us soon - the rum punch is always strong, sweet and ice cold and the sun and the sea are waiting!
Take care and see you soon, best wishes, Linda, Jason, Mark and all of your friends at Coconut Court Beach Hotel.

I've stayed at The Coconut Court Beach Hotel for 3 days and it was fun all the way. Excellent service from the front desk to the beach bar. The beach is just great, the rooms are very clean and mine overlooked the Jacuzzi. I love the feeling of serenity, walking along the long stretch of sandy beach. The location is a convenient bus or taxi ride to very good restaurants at St Lawrence Gap, Bridgetown and Oistins.

Dear Friend, thank you for taking the time to write this review of your recent stay with us. I am so happy that you had such a great time! Barbados is a lovely island and our hotel is the perfect place to help you enjoy it to the full. My dad Charlie always said "location, location, location" and I personally don't think that another hotel beats our fabulous beach front spot in the heart of the South Coast.
I love your island, Martinique and I travel there twice a year to promote our hotel. Please come back to see us again soon. In the summer time - there will be five non stop charter flights from Fort de France in July and August. Hope to see you soon. Take care and thank you once again.
Best regards, Linda and the Coconut Court team. xox

This hotel is available at a good price compared with some of the more expensive Bajan offerings and does have quite a lot going for it.
It is situated right on a lovely beach with good shade and all the rooms have a sea view. The staff are friendly and helpful and the housekeeping well up to standard. Our studio Ocean view studio room was nice and big with a balcony and there is a shop and a tourist office for booking trips.(Ted's tours and the Catamaran trip to swim with turtles especially good)
Antonio who runs the hotel beach bar with its popular happy hour deserves a special mention and is a great character.
The main negatives are the road noise as the hotel backs onto the main road through Hastings but this does apply to a lot of the hotels in this location, and that the restaurant/main bar hasn't got a lot of atmosphere despite live music 3 nights a week-most people seem to eat elsewhere(Tapas restaurant and The 39 Steps both good with plenty of others in walking distance)
All in all the hotel is good value for money and well worth considering.

Dear Friend, thanks for writing this review for us. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your recent stay with us. Yes, our beach is a gem with lots of sun beds and plenty of shade (we planted all of those trees ourselves - the Caribbean sun is much stronger than what you have at home and it will burn you to smithereens in no time at all so shade is really necessary). Our main attraction on the beach is Antonio who operates the friendly and lively Seagrape Beach Bar. A favourite with all of our friends!
We are gearing up for the Winter season so we will be increasing our nightly entertainment from December 15th. Andy Ingram will be joining us every other Sunday night so all of you Crystal Waters fans, get ready for some serious fun and dancing!
I am sorry that we did not have the chance to meet - my husband Jason, my brother Mark and I were travelling (promoting the hotel then added on a one week holiday after) for the last 2 weeks and only got back home yesterday. I like to personally host the Managers Cocktail Parties but hopefully we can meet on your next visit.
I am sorry that the noise from the road disturbed you. Yes, we are located in the heart of the South Coast and the main coast road (one lane in either direction) runs in front of the hotel so you have to expect some noise. Thankfully, most folks are not bothered by it. Anyway, if in doubt, please pack a pair of earplugs and you will be in dreamland soon enough.
Thanks again for your lovely review, please come back and see us again soon. Take care and all the best to you and your family for the new year.
Best wishes, Linda, Jason, Mark and the Coconut crew! ☺

We really loved our 3 stays at the Coconut Court Beach Hotel. We vacationed there again in September 2013 and hope to come back again in the future. It is a low key family run beach hotel with sections of newly renovated rooms. Most of the rooms have balconies overlooking the beautiful palm beach and sea, the rooms come with a safe, small convenient cook-top kitchen and refrigerator .We love snorkeling at the beach reef, placing our lounge chairs under the shaded palm trees, the feeling of serenity, walking along the long stretch of sandy beach, watching the sunsets and we enjoyed the fun beach bar with 2 happy hours daily. The location is a convenient bus or taxi ride to very good restaurants at St Lawrence Gap, Bridgetown and Oistens. The continental breakfast buffet at the restaurant was included in our package. The hotel restaurant dining room also has a lovely view.

Room Tip: Upgrade to the beachfront rooms and book the continental breakfast in your package if possible.
