Good cocktail bar, properly trained waiters ,excellent food with lots of fresh fish and a very nice location overlooking the waves make this restaurant a must if you are staying in this area.Prices are reasonable and the wine good which can't be said of all restaurants in Barbados.
Situated on the boardwalk which makes a nice stroll back after your meal.
We didn't book but it was always busy so maybe a good idea in the high season.

I was delightfully surprised with Tapas. When I saw some of the advertisements I though it would be a little cheesy, but the restaurant was pretty and had a nice view on the water. It's also on the boardwalk, so a nice area to walk around if you have to wait. Food was good.

Enjoyed this bar/restaurant in Hastings this summer with some old friends, good wine and the best company! The food was excellent: all 3 courses, especially the fish dish main course!!!! Don't forget the aperitif: Watermelon Margaritas !!!!!!!!! Made from fresh fruit, no sugar and tasty for days! Great atmosphere, perfect location along the boardwalk.

We just got back from Barbados for our honeymoon and we loved the island! We heard Tapas was one of those places you have to go to, and after having gone there, we have to disagree.

Pros: awesome location and view, tasty food, nice wait staff, great frozen drinks, I bet lunch would have been a good deal

Cons: over-priced, small portions, slow service despite the wait staff looking busy all the time (I think they were over-worked / under-staffed), small tight packed tables, dinner menu not worth it

For "fine dining", I'd steer clear of it and go to Champers for that sort of thing. We prefer relaxed dining, like the Tiki Bar -- It seemed like Tapas was trying to be both things at once, and failing at both. It's too pricey for the food you get, and too laid back for fine dining.

Lunch looked like a better deal, I would try it again but only for lunch.

Our final meal in Barbados! It was nice to have the option of small plates after eating so much all week. It was also great to get a sampling of some wonderful Barbadian cuisine. And the view isn't too shabby either!
