We had a great table outside and enjoyed 2 brill cocktails while we decided on our food. The ambience and service were fantastic. The food was good (but nowhere near as tasty as Joys' food at the Hott Pott) but not very exciting and we thought it was over priced for what you got. That being said would definitely return as it is a good location in the heart of the gap and the service is superb

Having picked this place out because of the reviews we were really disappointed when the food came, the calamari was well presented with a garlic dip but it was a little chewing (nothing too bad though) but the main courses were poor. I ordered the fish in a hot & spicy sauce, there was absolutely no heat to this dish other than the plate, the fish tasted as though it has been cooked for days. Then there was the harlequin chicken asked for medium in heat-this came in a cream sauce and again had no heat to it at all! I have to say the service was great the man who welcomed us in was friendly, our waiter was also lovely and very helpful.

This bistro style restaurant was simply magnificent. The location was pleasant, the staff were excellent but most importantly the food was splendid. We enjoyed the experience so much we chose the restaurant for our meal on our last night.

We ate here on the first night of our trip. The food was good, the service was good, the atmosphere was great. Loved it!!!! Living in the South it's nice to go somewhere with the open air atomosphere and be comfortable.
