Bedroom a bit dark, no window and noise from reception/atrium intrusive. (room 205). Living area ok but too much furniture and far too many cushions/pillows for the size of the rooms. Shower room impressive. We had an all inclusive package but no-one could really tell us what was included or what was allowed from the menu. Blended drinks were not! We we agree the menu is limited for a long stay and that more liaison between kitchen and waiting staff is needed. Restaurant improving, our over-easy eggs were always a bit hard and we had a long wait one night for our main course but the staff are charming, welcoming and helpful especially Candi,Chantelle, the girl with the snood( whose name we cannot remember) and Damian. Thanks to all the staff for a very nice time!!! Amazing views from the roof terrace.

Room Tip: rooms 205/6 a bit noisy.

Really nice new apartments, but the service lets it down. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and opted for half board, which was a mistake.
Average time for receiving our breakfast was about an hour. The evening meal was taking around two and a half hours, we started to take our iPad down to dinner so that we could play scrabble in between courses. The staff are lovely and really want to please, but the management in the kitchen must not understand what is happening out in the dining area. My husband and I weren’t expecting the speed of MacDonalds but it was just a joke. When talking to other guests, they too experienced long waits and many who weren’t on half board wouldn’t use the restaurant due to the service.
On the first day of staying at the hotel we asked the hotel what was included in half board, to which the receptionist didn’t know. After asking twice the receptionist did say we could have anything of the menu except the lobster, beef and lamb, this left a very limited menu mainly of fish which my husband isn’t too keen on. So for our 10 night stay we had about 4 options on the main menu. Kwouni , our tour operator was also at fault for also not pointing out the limited menu.
The hotel is lovely, shame about the service.

Lobby looks out onto the Caribbean sea which is an amazing colour from light blue to dark blue. Luggage was whisked out of taxi by hotel staff and we were ushered into the lobby and given cold towels we were then taken into the bar and given a complimentary cocktail while we checked in. All very efficient. We then went up to our room which was an Ocean front one bedroom suite, it was huge, spotless and perfect. The bed was huge and was one of THE best hotel beds I've ever slept in. We were on a B&B rate and ate breakfast in the restaurant everymorning and it was cooked to order and there was loads. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly, helpful and efficient(nothing in Barbados is done in a hurry, it is always very laid back) but when my husband wanted to play golf early the staff in the restaurant were very good and had his breakfast on the table in record time - thank you. Pool staff were always coming round asking if we wanted a drink and beach staff were always on hand to help with sun beds and the odd parasol which blew over, they were always there to help. We were invited to managers cocktail party which was lovely although the manager didn't talk to us at least we knew who he was, all staff were also invited including the beach boy who was very friendly and went round chatting to everybody(obviously a good manager who involves his staff in all aspects, which makes for a happy workforce and happy guests). We travelled with Kuoni and Annette the rep was very helpful, she arranged a coast to coast tour for the 4 of us and our guide and driver was very helpful and friendly and never rushed us. One of our friends was celebrating her 50th Birthday and the restaurant laid on a lovely cake and wine with balloons and a card. All in all lovely hotel with lovely staff. We truly experienced Bajan hospitality at its best.

Room Tip: 201a was a one bedroom which can also be used as a 2 bedroom, so had a slightly larger living/dining...

Arrived back in the UK yesterday. Our third holiday in Barbados and our first visit to this lovely hotel. We did not want to come home that's how good it really is. Without elaborating anymore you only have to see all the other reviews. After writing this review I will be checking availability for next year. Thank you to the management for our lovely holiday. A very special thanks to all the staff who work so hard to keep this place immaculate. Your always cheerful and polite.

Just returned from a fabulous family vacation at Ocean Two and can't wait to go back. Definitely a 5*. We had a 2 bedroom suite with 2 king size beds, 2 huge modern bathrooms with walk-in showers, fully equipped kitchen with beautiful granite countertops and everything you could possibly want (including pure drinking water). Housekeeping staff thoroughly cleaned the suite and provided fresh towels every day. The pool, swim up bar, lounge chairs and beach are fabulous and located within steps of the hotel lobby/lounge for easy access. The staff are the best!! We enjoyed the hotel restaurant and the excellent service at the pool and beach. The nearby restaurants at the St. Lawrence Gap served delicious food, my 2 favourites being the Harlequin (excellent barracuda, dolphin, shrimp and calamari), and Cafe Sol (great Mexican food, especially the margaritas at 'happy hour'). Visit the fish market at Oistins for a fun Friday night or buy fresh fish from the market to cook at the hotel.

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed each of them immensely. The view through the lobby directly to the ocean is a breathtaking "welcome". The beach is private as it gets and is a step out the door. Bar and food service were impeccable as was the direction provided by the staff on the local "must-sees".

A tip: the bar prices are very reasonable, and there is amazing food surrounding the hotel. Your best bet is to do all inclusive breakfast and lunch, and then explore for dinner. Go to Champer's, Pesci, Oistin's Fish Fry, etc.

Just returned from a week at Ocean two with my fiance and it was just perfect! We knew we had found a great place from the moment we arrived. From the welcome cocktail, cold towel and the amazing view of the ocean from reception. Our room was fabulous, we had an ocean view one bedroom suite and it had everything we could have wished for. The bedroom was modern and had the biggest most comfortable bed with loads of pillows and flat screen tv. The bathroom was enormous with a large rainfall shower that was the length of the room. There were his and hers sinks, loads of toiletries and storage space. The kitchen had every appliance and utensil you would possibly need (although we only used the kettle and toaster!) large fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven/hob, they also supplied washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. Lounge area was large and modern with another flat screen tv, sofa, chairs, table etc. and the balcony also had a table and 4 chairs plus 2 loungers with cushions, the perfect place to watch the gorgeous sunsets.

The pool area was great too, we had read reviews that people left towels on the beds but did not find this to be the case. We were not the earliest at getting up for some sun, but always found some beds were free and must say they had the fattest cushions and were the comfiest loungers we have ever laid on! The pool staff were amazing too, always brushing the beds clean, polishing the tables and providing clean towels as well as cold flannels and drinks and always with a smile. There were always lots of beds on the small private beach too, another great spot to watch the sunsets. The roof terrace was a great spot also with it's pool and lots of beds, they also have a weekly cocktail party up there which was on our first night so was a great way to start the holiday.

Restaurant was top notch too, again we had read some less than positive reviews but we ate there on the first night and we were hooked. I had the blackened Marlin and it was to die for. We had lunch there every day and another 2 dinners, service was good too.

Bar was v modern although a bit quiet a night, but it did not stop us from having a few rum cocktails before heading off to the Gap which was only a fifteen minute walk away.

All in all a fabulous holiday from start to finish. Thank you Ocean Two, we will definitely be back!
