Love this place. We ate here last year when my husband and I were in Barbados last year and it was wonderful. My husband demanded to go again when we visited this year....so wonderful! Great food, seaside view and great service!

We stumbled upon this restaurant in speightstown, craving proper home cooked bajan food.
This place was perfect, lovely food with a view of the sea.
We returned to this place twice on our visit definitely worth the bus ride. I'm vegetarian so had rice & peas, mac pie, plantain, ocra and pumpkin it was just I needed. Worth seeking this restaurant out. The gentleman who owned the place was lovely too couldn't ask for a better place

We had a lovely lunch here. We were driving through Speightstown and saw what looked like a nice restaurant by the sea. I guess if we had known that it was a canteen service and quite basic decor inside we may not have gone in. Thank god we did. The food (macaroni pie and Lamb chops) was delicious, the setting was beautiful (great photos) and the service so friendly and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this!

Great lunch on our drive round the island. Local food, really tasty and great value for money.
Like a canteen really you just pick what you want. Plenty of choice for vegetarians. Nothing fancy just a beautiful view, friendly staff and a relaxed afternoon.

Not that it matters to everyone but really clean toilets too

We went to the Fishermans most afternoons during our 2 week stay, end May/beginning June 2014. Mr Armstrong was always friendly. He helped us with our disabled son that fell a lot. The food was good value for money. Nothing Fancy. Loved sitting outside watching the sea with our beers. Great way to while away the afternoons.
