“Great local food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 July 2014

If you want to try real Bajan food, this is the place. We tried almost everything in the buffet and it was all really really good, especially the fish cakes!! The price is great, a lot cheaper than the average tourist restaurants around.

“An afternoon delight!!!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 July 2014

I'm sure there are better ways to spend your afternoon than sitting outside looking at the turquoise sea with a flask of rum, plenty ice and some lovely local food and then watching a spectacular sunset - but I've yet to find them!!!

The food is very much home-style cooking, which was exactly what we were looking for, and the hospitality is so warm and friendly.

Spent a good number of afternoons there as it was so relaxing, and if we are ever back on the island will pay another visit or 3.

Love this place. We ate here last year when my husband and I were in Barbados last year and it was wonderful. My husband demanded to go again when we visited this year....so wonderful! Great food, seaside view and great service!

“Great food great location perfect”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

We stumbled upon this restaurant in speightstown, craving proper home cooked bajan food.
This place was perfect, lovely food with a view of the sea.
We returned to this place twice on our visit definitely worth the bus ride. I'm vegetarian so had rice & peas, mac pie, plantain, ocra and pumpkin it was just I needed. Worth seeking this restaurant out. The gentleman who owned the place was lovely too couldn't ask for a better place

“Great lunch by the sea”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 July 2014

We had a lovely lunch here. We were driving through Speightstown and saw what looked like a nice restaurant by the sea. I guess if we had known that it was a canteen service and quite basic decor inside we may not have gone in. Thank god we did. The food (macaroni pie and Lamb chops) was delicious, the setting was beautiful (great photos) and the service so friendly and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this!
