“Relaxing property”
Reviewed 9 July 2012

Cobblers Cove is a very relaxing property. However, Cobblers is either going to be a hit or miss. Compared to the other premium hotels in Barbados (The House, Sandy Lane), Cobblers is very quiet and much more intimate. The staff is very friendly and open; however, the smaller property does have a few drawbacks - the bar and restaurant close early, along with the pool (6:00 pm pool close time).

Besides that, the room was very nice. We stayed in room 36 with a complete ocean view. This room was set far away from the pool, which was nice. If you request an ocean view room, make sure to request a room far away from the pool, as there is always some commotion poolside.

Watersports are included! My girlfriend and I went sailing on the small sunfish, waterskiied several times when the surf was down, and enjoyed playing on the watertoys. I even ended up going surfing with one of the employees in Oistins.

We booked our wedding for Cobblers Cove through Kuoni and it was paradise!
Everything was so stress free. The wedding planner Yvette organised everything from the pastor to the flowers to our excursions. I even wanted Ava Maria played on my entrance - she even rushed home to get her sons speakers! Nothing was too much of an ask. She arranged for us to meet the chief Brian Porteous who was from my home town of KIlkenny surprisingly! We had a beautiful meal with lots of champagne and never felt we were asking too much- our server Andrea was fabulous and very attentive. We would also like to thank Yvette and the hotel manage Alastair for being our witnesses.

Our photographer timothy- was also fab and was so quick with the pictures and they came in a lovely album. We got some beautiful pictures on the beach which were stunning.

My hairdresser Donna was such a bonus, I was lucky enough to get an appointment with her.
She has done the Tiger Woods wedding, SImon Cowell, Ryan Seacrest, the Clintons to name but a few so for her to do my hair for my wedding was a real treat!

We would like to thank the hotel for all the flowers in our room and the fruit basket. But the icing on the cake was our own personally embroidered cobblers cove dressing gowns- we will treasure them forever.

We stayed in the hotel for 10 days and only ate out twice the food was that good. The service was fantastic and the cocktails..... Wow what a selection!

We loved the afternoon tea from 4-5 and the cocktail tuesdays. Such nice touches.

Adrian drove us to the fish pot restaurant one night and to get our marriage licence- he was a lot of fun and had a great tast in music!!!!

We have been to lots of hotels and places in the world but cobblers cove and Barbados in general has topped the list. From people's friendliness to the great food and beautiful weather to the general safeness of the island compared to others it was the best location for our wedding and honeymoon.

Cobblers Cove is a wonderful, peaceful place to unwind from the worries, stresses, strains and problems one encounters in life. The suites are like homes away from homes. The only room that has air-conditioning is the bedroom because the living room opens up to a balconey/terrace and the a/c wouldn't work in these rooms. We had an upper room - which was great. We caught a bit of a breeze up there and had great views of the gardens, with a touch of a sea view. The staff here was amazing - from check in to check out we were pampered by every one there. The staff were friendly and fun - and quick to fill any request we might have. Service in the Restaurant was top notch. This hotel is on the West Coast, but far enough north that it's not in the middle of a lot of other hotels and traffic, but also close enough that it's just a short ride to the fab restaurants on the island. We loved staying here. This was our second trip to Barbados but our first stay at Cobblers Cove - we will be back!!

I thought I booked this vacation on a whim, but it turned out to be on divine instruction!
This was a wonderful, relaxing, comfortable vacation, exceeding all our expectations.
The resort is small, comfortably elegant,(i.e the lounge area invites you to sit...not scares you away), quiet, with a beautiful oceanfront restaurant, and a great beach. You can swim and snorkle right in front of the resort, the water is clear, with minimal waves. Relaxing by the pool, we were observed by Barbados Green Monkeys!
The food was excellent. I generally miss my kitchen while travelling, but not this time. The selection was very good, the food delicious, the chef accommodating, and the presentation tempting. The serving staff were very professional yet very friendly.
Our upper suite had a garden view. It was very spacious, and the bed was comfortable (I'm hard to please!). It was immaculately clean, and always wecoming.
We rented a car for three days which was delivered right to the hotel. We travelled the island, getting lost on numerous occasions, but had a lot of fun.
We have travelled extensively, and this is the one place that both of us agree is a "Must Return".

We chose to stay here based on reviews and also our liking of small independent hotels. We were not disappointed! We were relaxed form the moment of check in and could not recommend highly enough. The suite we had was lovely, and the staff could not do enough for you. I can see why people return here year after year. I would agree, this is not the place for a wild holiday, more for relaxing which was perfect for our requirements.
I didn't have a massage here, instead I went to the spa at coral reef which I can also recommned very highly!

This is a great place for a gentle, low-keyed holiday. The suites are spacious and comfortable, and the main building has an air of old world elegance. It feels like home -- a very nice home! The beach is not large but it's all you need, and the pool is nearby. The food is very good and served in an inviting open air restaurant. The bar is somewhat lacking but that is a minor quibble. A very special feature of Cobbler's Cove is that the service is friendly, efficient and absolutely top-notch. It is nice to see so many of the same people on staff year after year. Don't come here for excitement and family fun. The cliental is older: people who want to unwind in a refined, relaxing, club-like atmosphere. It is not a bargain, but it is a special place.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and it ticks all the boxes for me.
The rooms are all suites, they are very spacious. Beds are huge and comfortable. The balconies/terraces are large and overlook the amazing gardens. All the staff are really friendly and the service is excellent (which is not always the case in the caribbean). The swimming pool is lovely although a bit on the small side. The restaurant is right on the beachfront with stunning views (very romantic) and the food is fantastic. I had an amazing lobster thermidor one night.
There is a small spa and we both had massages this time, they were really good. Complimentary tea is served every afternoon and water skiing is included. Makes a perfect holiday.

Room Tip: standard rooms are great but the sea view ones are lovely
