Made this booking at short notice. The owner was accommodating and arranged transfers from the airport. Although out of town this accommodation was easily accessed for our trips around the island, the speightstown bus station is 12 minutes walk.
The property presented clean and adequately furnished. There were fresh clean towels and linen for the duration of our two month stay. The only downfall I could give is the television had only one channel, a local station giving news and sometimes interesting information about Barbados.
The beach is nearby and you could watch the sun setting from the bedroom and bathroom windows if you didn't feel like taking the 7 minute walk down the road. The area felt safe and even though we were returning late at night many evenings the people in the neighborhood seem to know who we were and would greet us daily as we walked by. There are a number of dogs in the area who barked a lot but the dog nearest the house would not bark when he got used to you which was after the third time off passing. I found this a good deterrent for possible unwanted visitors in the area. This dog was also caged so not really a threat to passers by.
I would undoubtedly book to stay in this accommodation again.
My bedroom was cool and clean, Mr.Forde placed fresh towels and sheets in the closet incase we needed to change anything and another bonus is that both bedrooms upstairs are equipped with fans was also an ironing board for those who press. The bathroom was spotless and the storage cupboard in the kitchen area contained a mop, broom and well as an mop bucket.
