A total 5 star experience. We were there for 4 nights and it was really great. The manager truly knows his business and makes every effort to give top flight service. When we came in for dinner the first night, he came to our table and said " I know you are with us for 4 nights, and I want to be sure we do anything we need to to make your stay great, just let us know what you want us to do, anything". We. Had a lovely room with a balcony. Rode bikes given to us daily and had terrific wines and food for dinner. Breakfast, was also exceptional, with omelettes, fruits, and a wide choice of cheeses, meats, yogurts, pastries etc.
This is a tough place to beat. Recommend it highly!

my husband and i recently spent four wonderful nights at this property. susanne, jean-louis and all their staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful from the very first moment. there are few establishments that offer a solid five star service in all aspects, but this one does. the location is perfect, just a few minutes outside of Beaune in Bourgogne - an excellent base from which to explore the region. the environs are beautiful & peaceful. my husband and i enjoyed a wander through the grounds. the bistro, and the gastronomic restaurant, are both excellent, and the breakfast is quite satisfactory too. thank you to the staff at the restaurant for being so patient with me and for hiding your horror at the fact i neither drink wine nor eat cheese :) our room in the meix des glycines was beautifully appointed, without going over the top (as too many 'luxury' hotels i've stayed in are wont to do) and above all, so so comfortable. the ambience of this hotel is overall warm and unpretentious but subtly luxurious. by far and away the most memorable aspect of this stay were the people who make hostellerie de levernois run. susanne helped plan our daily itinerary and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations along the way, and all the individual staff we dealt with - from housekeeping, to the restaurants, to front desk. it was a wonderful stay, and we certainly hope to return again.

This is an exceptional property that makes for a wonderful stay in the wine region of southern Burgogne. It is just outside of Beaune which is easily accessible and a beautiful small city. We stayed for three nights and breakfast and dinner in the gastronomic restaurant were included, a requirement at the height of the season.

This is a lovely rural setting with large trees, grounds, fountains, inviting to walk through. The public rooms were very attractively decorated, warm and inviting. A very pleasant surprise was live music during the cocktail hour held in the bar in inclement weather and outside in a delightful patio environment in nice weather. We had a jazz combo of keyboard and bass which were very good and, as mentioned elsewhere, hors oeuvres were served. Of course drinks in Bourgogne are never difficult to find.

I thought 3 nights in the gastronomic restaurant would be too much but we loved it. This was a large menu and everything was well prepared. We had the most extensive and wonderful cheese trolley of our entire 3 week vacation. Service was excellent and we enjoyed having our own table. As mentioned by other reviewers the managers are exceptionally warm, friendly and welcoming and came around frequently to make sure everything was fine.

Breakfast was in a beautiful rustic setting and this room is also available for dinner I believe but we did not eat there.

The room was large and comfortable and well maintained. We stayed in the Pavillion which has a rustic modern decor with exposed beams and stone. The bathroom was large and well equipped. We had a small terrace opening on to a lawn with tall trees.

We attended a wine lecture given on Thursdays by the Sommelier, Jeremy which enhanced our appreciation of the Grand Crus wines. We also used Jeremy to help us select our wines every night with dinner and were pleased with his lower priced selections. Our lecture included generous servings of Grand cru and Premier cru wines.

All in all we had a wonderful experience and hope to return some day.

I chose this place because it has so many good reviews on Tripadvisor. It didn't disappoint! We had an amazing stay. The dinners in both restaurants were excellent. The room was nice and the service was excellent. We enjoyed having drinks and the little (free) canapies while sitting outside in the sunshine. Highly recommend this place!
