“Gluten Free full english breakfast. ...amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2014

I was recommended this place by another patient when I was admitted to hospital and my god its amazing. You go in, ask for a gluten free breakfast and get exactly that. No, what can I have and making a selection from the things you know are safe. You get a full English breakfast and no quibbles. Its such a relief such a place exists. The food handling is spot on...they are hot on not contaminating gluten free foods and have good practices in place. The quality is very good along with the cost and service. I love this place.

“Lovely cafe”

Since having family member diagnosed as coeliac my family and I go to this cafe on average weekly! Friendly owner. Great menu! Reasonable prices and banana milkshakes to die for! Perfect location in town centre. Outdoor area is lovely in summer.

“Nice people, good food, well priced”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 November 2013 via mobile

Have started to use Coffee Shop Plus as a regular Saturday morning 'pit stop' for a few weeks now, following the closure of Mooch.
They do a good coffee and freshly prepared and cooked food.
It's nothing fancy, but who wants fancy when you're just having a snack type stop, but the menus on the blackboard have you staring for ages with the sheer amount of variety on offer.
Staff are lovely and friendly. It's a pleasure to pop in here for half an hour or so.
Only small problem is that it's a pretty tight squeeze, but can't help that.
In fact, if it keeps getting the glowing reports that it deserves it will get even more difficult to get a seat.......on second thoughts - ignore what I've written. Do not go to this place. Well, at least on a Saturday mid day'ish!

“reply to 'NOT IMPRESSED'”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 October 2013

The person in question may have thought that it was only a little girl but when this is multiplied up by the number of non-customers who ask to use the toilet it becomes unreasonable and an inconvenience to PAYING customers. The water is on a meter, the toilet rolls, soap, hand towels and cleaning materials all cost money. Again multiply this up and it becomes a substantial sum which can only be be retrieved by increasing prices to the patrons. On top of that whilst these people are using the toilet the actual customers and staff cannot. The other thing is that small children tend to make the most mess and non customers tend to be less respectful in the mess that they produce. I had 4 children and looked after a mother with Parkinson's disease and at no time did I ever do what these people are asking. If I aspired to running a public toilet I would do so. If I was to open a coffee shop in a toilet I don't think people would like it so why should they like an establishment that relies on hygiene allow it to become a public toilet. On top of this most people who are refused politely start to argue and most often are abusive using foul language in front of the child. As to the laughing it was nothing to do with this person and was as a result of something prior to her arrival. There are public toilets in the town and establishments that will allow public use. Ours is not one of them as I am sure would be the answer if I knocked on a strangers door asking to use their toilet. Sorry they can't appreciate other peoples point of view but that is not my problem. Our duty is to our customers not all and sundry from the street. When our customers wish to subsidise the whole town we'll put a sign up to let them know.
