We have been at Diavoletti's three weeks ago on our Toscana trip. We went there early on a sunday evening (19:30 PM), were located at a nice table and could place our orders immediately. Starters (noodles) were fine and the main courses (steaklike meat pieces and pizza) were also convincing. But the restaurant got quite packed within an hour and so it took us several attempts to order another drink or a coffee. And after having had our coffee it took about an hour to receive the conto and pay our bill. So it seemed that we completely slipped off the staff's radar after being served the last items of our orders. Two waitresses for more than 20 tables were obviously not enough, though they were attentive (at the start).

We've heard from this restaurant from other visitors of our agritourismo. It's close to the restaurant, but it's so well hidden we never could have find it without their tips. When you arrive at this restaurant, it doesn't really look inviting. But inside and on the covered terrace it's lovely.

The people here are really warm, and enthousiastic about their slow food. They advice you what to eat and really care to give you a pleasant evening.

We visited the restaurant twice with our three daugthers. If we come back to Italy next year, we would like to visit this restaurant again!

This restaurant is nestled away among the villa estates outside of Lucca. We happened to be staying nearby and decided to visit the restaurant after several locals enthusiastically recommended it.

What we experienced was truly special. Almost everything the restaurant prepares is made from locally produced ingredients and made in-house. Pastries, fresh preserves even sausages are all home made.

We had a group of 10 so we were able to collectively experience a number of dishes from their very interesting menu. We ordered assorted antipasto selections, focaccia, perfectly crisp delicious pizza, pastas, Florentine beefsteak, tripe and rabbit. All were delicious.

Two of us ordered a homemade pasta with a cinta senese pork ragu which was absolutely fantastic! I recommend this dish without hesitation. I should also add that my order of rabbit was extraordinarily delicious.
