We've visited this hotel before for coffee/drinks and decided to stay over one night. It was during the Octava festival so rooms were at peak price. Room was large with beams and pretty furnishings but only skylight windows so very stuffy. Bathroom lovely at first glance but drastically needed modernising. The breakfast was appalling for the price of the room. V basic - rolls and jam and everything packeted which you wouldn't expect for a hotel of this class. But an experience if you haven't been there before and the public areas are just beautiful. Please note we went in May 2013 but leaving this review late.

We stayed here as a family for four nights and all of us enjoyed the experience. The hotel was until very recently a private palace, and it retains all of the charm of a grand family home. We were very fortunate to be given the suite at a reduced rate as it was the only large enough room available for us. With lots of space, a private balcony overlooking the street, marble floors and heavy oak doors it was quite a treat after our usual hostal accommodation.
The hotel staff were very obliging, breakfast was more than adequate (espresso coffee was appreciated) and the hotel dining room serves very nice food and is patronised by locals as well as guests. The staff also told us the best places to eat in town (which was confirmed by locals and by us) and the best places to visit both in town and nearby, including flamingos recently arrived to breed on a small lagoon.
Osuna is a wonderful small Spanish town without masses of tourists (in fact we didn't see any in 3 days), a great base for sightseeing, as well as having its own historical attractions. And this is a great hotel to choose.

A very pleasant stay in a converted palace. Some staff spoke no English, so it helps to have a knowledge of Spanish. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was beautiful and tastefully furnished.
There is no pool nor anywhere to lie and sunbathe.
There is a small courtyard where it is possible to sit, but it was mostly in the shade, which would be ideal to escape from the heat in Summer.
The town itself was very pleasant and offered many restaurants and tapas bars.

Upon arrival staff was a bit cold and not very helpful.
We were give n room n 11,possibly the worst room in the whole place, with view to the ac motors of other rooms and a wall... ok bad start, I ask to change rooms and the girl at reception told us that had to many check ins... The hotel was empty the next day.... disappointed, but we carried on. The noisiest place, eco of high hill shoes up to late at night its to expext, and kids running up and down banging doors....
Beds were confortable, and room was clean. Staff at the bar was great and food is good, breakfast pretty short of options. But in general this is a very old building and toilet and pipe noises filter through the walls.
No my thing.. will no come back.
There are hostels with more values. 4 stars not for me anyhow

My wife and I together with friends stated 1 night at this hotel. The building is magnificent. Can easily see why it is used in films. It is of course on San Pedro a very attractive street with numerous grand facades to the houses. Room was large and comfortable, clean and stylish. Breakfast standard for Spain with bottles juice or drinks, lovely coffee, and a selection of cold meats, cereals, toast toppings, fruit and yoghurts. Worthwhile place to stay a night it two.

We stayed one night at the end of august, We all loved it, friendly staff and good amenities, Close to centre of Osuna in a quiet street. just one thing to bear in mind is that the last two weeks in August many restaurants and hotels close for their holidays as Cordoba is usually too hot to visit then. we had no problems with the heat which was lower than normal (32º) but eating out choices were limited.

This hotel is in an outstanding building in the centre of Osuna but It feels a bit past its sell by date. The rooms are a bit dowdy and dark and the chairs in the dinning room wonky. Tje walls of my room seemed paper thin, but my friends' room was very quiet. The bathrooms are nice and great showers. Breakfast uninspiring.
The staff are friendly and the rates are reasonable, it's such a pity that those little details have been neglected.

Room Tip: Ask for one on the very top floor.
