We made a distillery tour along Speyside and stayed in this beautiful place. We will definitively come back here in future! Many thanks for your help and advice on the Strathisla distillery :)
Warm regards,

Dear O and O: Thank you very much for your kind words. The two of you were excellent guests and hope to see you again. There are plenty more good whiskies and distilleries to visit in Speyside.

Kind Regards

We tried a few B&B throughout Scotland this time and The Elms was definitely THE best. The objective reasons being the house is beautiful, nicely maintained, the rooms & bathroom are spotlessly clean, the dining room is very very beautiful and cozy, the host would even make up our room twice a day (which I believe is rare for anything less than a 5 star hotel). Although having to share bathroom was initially a put off for us but then knowing the owners would maximum take two groups of guests at a time, sharing bathroom wasn't really a concern. The subjective reasons being the host, Eileen herself, she was such a nice, resourceful and wonderful lady which really makes our stay even more pleasant. She gave us lots of information about the town, where to eat. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone who would pass by the area.

We spent a week traveling through Scotland staying at various BnBs and our 2 nights at The Elms were by far the highlight in terms of accommodations. Chris and Eileen were so warm and hospitable, we felt absolutely at home. Our room was very comfortable, private, had all the amenities we could want, including a comfy plush bath robe and a tin of cookies! I really wanted to see some highland cows and Eileen gave us perfect directions to a nearby farm where I got to take some pictures and even pet on of them.
Really and excellent place.
Thank you!

Room Tip: The top floor is very cosy and private, with no other guest rooms on that floor. There is also a gue...

What can I say, but Excellent friendly hosts , clean spacious rooms and I great location

The guest house is positioned ideally to walk around the town. You are minutes from the restaurants and pubs, shops and distilleries

The price is excellent value for money, and the shared bathroom makes no difference to your stay

Breakfast is served in a lovely room overlooking the mortlach distillery

The rooms are large and have very comfortable beds

However Chris and eileen and the best part, friendly , helpful and very knowledgable about the local area

I hope I make it back some day

Had a great two night stay once again at The Elms a great location for touring surrounding areas within easy reach of the coast towards Elgin and also the Speyside trail.

You get a fantastic Highlands welcome off the owners Eileen & Chris and with the knowledge that they have built up over the years in the community can always suggest places of interest near or far. Nothing is too much trouble and with a hearty breakfast that sets you up for the day the local scenery can be enjoyed

Will look to book The Elms on my next visit to this lovely location.

Room Tip: All rooms are first class, warm and comfortable.

We stayed at The Elms in July (2 couples). We had the place to ourselves because they don't take more than 4 at a time. It was our first B&B on our trip and it couldn't have been any better! They kept in contact with us via email and greeted us with warm smiles when we arrived! They gave us advice for dinner and whisky tastings. The B&B is really lovely. The only small downfall is that one room was 2 twins, but had we wanted to we could have pushed them together. (This may also be a good thing for a couple or singles who would rather not share a bed... :)). Homemade breakfast the next morning and we were on our way! Thank you Eileen & Chris!

What a wonderful Scottish welcome we received at The Elms. Our host was warm and friendly and very helpful with information about the area as well as the local distilleries but was very respectful of our space and left us to do our thing. Our room was immaculate and spacious and the bed very comfortable. We were the only guests in the house that night so we had the use of the bathroom all to ourselves. The following morning we awoke to a delicious breakfast prepared with care and served in the stately dining room. We truly felt like guests rather than paying customers at the Elms and congratulate the owners on an excellent Bed and Breakfast.
