“Great place to relax & chill in the sun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 June 2012

Just had 2 weeks here and aready making plans to return for a week next year. Transfer from the airport is about 45 minutes with a couple of drop offs just before. The driver will either drop you off by the bar or at the top so if you are by the pool, you will end up climbing a few flights of stairs.

We were on the 1st floor just above the bar overlooking the beach, appartments were spotless & well equipped. There is a safe in the room at a cost of 3 euro's a day and as it was quite cool in evening we did not have to hire a fan.

There is a supermarket just around the corner and the resort is well equipped with a number of restaurants & shops. There are 2 cashpoint machines in the main square - we avoided Del Boys & Vincents if I wanted British style bars I would have gone to Blackpool!!. After a week of eating out arround the square we decided to eat in hotel restaurant and the food there was superb -It says a lot when those staying in other hotels come & eat there. The paella was to die for although you do need to order it in advance it was well worth it.

Toni Maria & the staff a really friendly and although sometimes the service in the bar when it is busy can be slow, just remember you are on holiday & enjoy where you are!!

PS Beer ranges from 3 - 3.5 euro's!!

Room Tip: Rooms above the bar offer lovely views of the sea!

Just returned after a fabulous week. Everything was superb. Fantastic safe beaches for kids. We ate most nights and every morning in the bar and that was just fine. Cleanliness was second to none, staff were very, very attentive and friendly. We did have fajitas one night in the bar next door - scrummy!!! Just wander round to the other bay and the glass bottom boat is one of the best 10 euros each you will ever spend. Great snorkelling - hand feed the fish - watch them jump !!! . Free wi-fi in the bar - another bonus. Across the beach is a large hotel - of which was not a bother at all .... in fact, they have their entertainment outside, which meant we had free entertainment too a couple of evenings !! .Nice walks to be had - just an amble up the hill to the small Nort beach/cove for diving and more spectacular beachside bars. Our rep Ashleigh was a little star ... but this is Thomsons last year as Es Puet Blanc is going independant but it would so easy to arrange and also taxi collection/pick up (about 40 euros each way). It was our first time - but it would appear return visits are certainly not unusual according to guests that were there! I would have no hesitation whatsoever in going back - and I can quite understand those that do !! Spectacular location.

Room Tip: If you are less mobile or less energetic - then obviously lower floors would be better. We were in...

just returned from a weeks stay 16th till 23rd may, apt spotless we were on 1st floor overlooking the beautiful beach, food in restaurant very nice, but i feel all the holiday makers going s/c etc are being penalised for all the a/i hotels around, food and drinks i thought were expensive 3 euros for a small bottle of stongbow, between 4 and 5 euros for a gin and soda, 3 3.75 for a large beer, we dont like a/c, but anyway would return to ibiza, but would try another resort

Room Tip: if you or your partner have walking difficulties dont go here, there must be about 100 steps, you sh...

What a location, right on the beach, short walk to restaurants but the food was so good at the Es Puet Blanc that we ate there most nights. Maria and Paul made us very welcome as did all the staff from the maids to the bar staff, could not fault any one.The pool is very quiet most days we were the only ones using it even though the hotel was full, most people used the beach. My only complaint is no air conditioning in the rooms, most days during our stay it was in the 30's and the rooms get very hot, you can higher a fan from reception at a cost but it was not really adequte. My only other negative comment would be the steps, which ever room you get you have to face them so if you have walking difficulties it may not be the place for you, we never had a problem with them and will return another year, its just the place to relax and unwind!

I read many reviews before booking this hotel through Thomsons, and will start with Thomson.

I found on this trip Thomsons who were very poor in many respects, We arrived on time but and having been directed to look for our coach, we found it was not there , no communications whatsoever from the tour company andf the bus finally arrived 1 hour later ( while we stood wondering what was going on in extreme heat conditions ) The transit time on booking was stated as 40 minutes, it took us 1 hour 20 minutes while we made other drop off, and no apology from the rep who did not say a word throughout the ride and then got off at the first drop to leave us with just a none speaking driver to work the rest of us out. On collection home were were also faced with just a driver again none speaking English and no rep !!!!!.

Now location Hotel.... Hotel is all its says it is... lovely rooms views much cheaper rates than Thomson if you wish to go again book direct ( highly recommended ) Food is Ok resonable with your discount. ( just dont try to order poached eggs for breakfast , I got cold boiled ) for breakfast I personally recommend DelBoys ( fantastic breakfast at excellent prices, check their web site out) I also recommend a bar called Don Quiote which is fantastic for both food and drink and typically Spanish, slightly off the main drag but really friendly and great with outstanding views from the upstairs dining area, beer colder than you can imagine.

Visit the 3rd beach which is really quite but really great with a small bar diving facilities.

If you want to buy drink for go room or to bring home go nowwhere other than boozy buys, you will not find prices like these anywhere and far cheaper than tax free at the airport. You can even buy at these cheap prices and drink what you buy on the sun terrace.

If your into footie like me , then Delboys or if your a family or Vincents bar for better atmosphere etc... In summary a really amazing place if you want something quite chilling !!!!!!

There are 16 apartments and a sun terrace located over six levels. Consequently, there are a lot of steps! The lower apartments (nos. 1-4 and 5-7) being separated from the upper ones (nos. 8-10, 11-13 and 14-16) by the swimming pool and sun terrace. The best thing about this accommodation is its really close proximity to the beach which means you can get a quick dip without too much effort. Especially since the beach sun beds were 5 Euros each to hire.

The apartments were spacious and clean - though we did see a few ants about, they were not too much of a worry and really just part of being in a warm climate.

The kitchen was reasonably equipped, but no electric kettle which meant a long wait to heat up on the hob for a cuppa. Good size fridge with separate freezer. The bed linen and towels, although clean, had seen better days. Iron provided (do people actually iron on holiday?!), but no hairdryer.

Bathroom was clean and functional with a pretty good shower and plenty of hot water.

Good sized balcony.

We were there during October and the weather was great. However, most of the shops were winding down and it was a bit difficult trying to get certain food items. One shop stays open all year, so was better stocked - located at the very top of the square next to Del Boys.

The only disappointment for us was the lack of Spanish food, eg tapas. Everything seemed to be "with chips". We did find a good value restaurant just off the main road called Don Quijote. This offered a really good three-course meal for 10 Euros. It also includes a decent bottle of red wine between two, olives and bread. Also, lovely friendly staff. (Don't bother with the 18 Euro menu unless you are able to eat a horse-sized meal!) I also agree with another reviewer about the ubiquitous big tv screens showing football.

Good bus service to other locations on the island. We visited Santa Eularia which is very elegant and where we found plenty of delightful cafes etc serving Spanish cuisine.

All in all, a very good holiday.

Room Tip: Upper floors have more sunshine, but slightly less of a view of the sea.

Having read the other reviews I decided to book direct, we flew Easyjet and took Maria's advice on taking a taxi from the Airport. It cost 50 euros each way but a word of warning make sure you get a taxi driver that knows where to go. I had the address written but he didnt speak any English and had to ask a colleague. Having decided he knew it we set off into the night down long dark country roads and he eventually stopped at a place that looked all dead and closed, assured us it was the correct place and started unloading our bags. I felt uneasy so called Maria and asked her to speak to him, turned out he had taken us about 10 minutes down the road too far, lucky I called her as if he had left us there I dont know how we would have found the apartments. He took us the remainder of the journey at no extra charge. Taxis are metered so no need to haggle. Next time I would hire a car as the roads seem easy and the apartments are easy to find when you take the correct turning. Its about a half hour drive from the airport. Having eventually arrived at the right place we were pleased to find the apartment spotlessly clean and everything we needed there. We arrived after midnight which was no problem for Maria and she kindly gave us some tea bags, milk, sugar and water to keep us going till morning and the shops opened. We were on the top floor so there were a lot of steps down to the pool and beach as some people have commented so request a lower room if you are not so fit. The pool and the beach were perfect and my three teens had a great time. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time apart from a few other holidaymakers there who we found to be friendly. I agree about the restaurant it was slow service but whats the rush on holiday. The food is good, tho most places serve pretty much the same. There are several supermarkets in easy walking distance but I was surprised to find the food much more expensive than i expected, bit like doing your weekly shopping at the local corner shop both in terms of price and choice but for us it was fine. The supermarket near to Del Boys bar had hot croissants and baguettes every morning so this became a daily trip for me. If you are looking for a lively holiday with things to do this is not for you its very quiet and relaxing which is just what we were looking for. All in all we could not fault it and would like to return soon.

Room Tip: If you are not fit ask for a lower room - there are a lot of steps up to the pool and the higher lev...
