“Nice place to stay for a few days.”
Reviewed 13 April 2013

6 off us,3 couples,We went to Oceania Club Resort All Inclusive bases, in early April so were not expecting high temp.Nevertheless daytime temps were quite acceptable.
.
The Resort is quite nice and breathtaking as you arrive in the lobby.Counter staff are pretty efficient,Quick check in procedure was painless and included a welcome cocktail and a quick chat on the resort and services available.

Although we had booked seaview room,we were in Block 3,we could see the sea from our balcony but we had Block 4 in front of us so it was obstructing the full sea view, this in my opinion is not my understanding of seaview.

There are 2 pool areas which were pretty full most of the day when the weather was good, and i think if it were full this time of the year what would it be like in the peak season. There is also an indoor pool with some deck chairs around it.

Rooms were kept pretty clean no complaint whatso ever.

Restaurants. There were 3 Restaurants but one had to book 3 days in advance but we could not eat there because we were only there for 3 nights. So i can not comment on this.

Bar.There was a Bar at the Poolside and a small coffee come snack place at the poolside.Main lobby Bar was big and adequate and the Bar staff were very friendly and efficient,The cocktails were ok beer and other local drinks only no branded stuff,,as All Inclusive goes.

There is a beach,at the bottom of the Resort. The resort is on a hill .There were few beds on the beach, but as the weather was not that good no one was around on the beach,I expect in peak season this area would have more people. One could go for a walk to New Moudania town 15-20 mins by the seaside. The town is ok quite and run down.Plenty of dogs roaming around.

Food at the main buffet restaurant was good enough as we stayed only for 3 nights but i suspect it could get it bit repeatative if we had stayed any longer.Breakfast was very good,Staff at this restaurant were good, not enough of them so they were working very hard, but nevertheless were pretty good and polite.

Entertainly was ok.In the evening the main bar gets full very quickly, they could do with more seating at the main Bar area, however there is another bar and seating area as well, but entertainment is only at the main.

Transport to and from the airport was provided by Meli Tours.Full marks for them.Excellent service. On arrival at the airport, they were waiting for us and one day before departure they sent us a leaflet through our door informing us the time of pick up.The driver was very friendly and proffessional, big 7 seater Black Merc.and the 35 mins drive was very comfortable.Thank you MELI TOURS.Keep it up.

All in all quite a good 3 nighter stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: For Seaview rooms do not choose Block 3.Book Private transport from the airport provided by Meli Tou...

No disappointments or nasty surprises ! Just as it is advertised and reviewed. The hotel is spotless , the staff are polite and helpful. Food choice is brilliant , great to be able to book in 3 restaurants within the hotel, as well as the buffet every meal . No complaints at all, despite two days of poor weather when we used the indoor pool, children's club and library. Children thoroughly enjoyed the 8pm discos and children's films , my elder daughter watched a film in the cinema most evenings. Highly recommend this hotel and would love to return . I booked direct with the hotel and received free transfers to and from the airport, which as a family of 5 saved us having to hire a car.

We have just got back from a great stay at the Oceania. There were 5 of us with ages ranging from 50-14. Everything was top notch. Loads to do even on a cloudy day. Food was excellent and although reserving tables in the a la carte restaurants was a bit of a palava it was worth it. I can only agree with all the recent comments. If you like organised activities then Rob and Graham are the men for you.

The resort is beautiful with very well kept extensive grounds. The outdoor pools were fantastic but exceptionally cold in mid April - too cold to use really. The indoor pool was ideal. The all-inclusive concept took us by surprise as it was so easy and all encompassing including cocktails! We had taken currency to use and now have to change it back - not had that problem before. The food was plentiful and of a good standard. The themed restaurants (Greek, Italian and Asian) were excellent - you have to book these and it is essential that you get up early and be ready in line at 09:00 to book three days in advance. Well worth it. The Spa treatments looked very enticing however we were not able to experience them as they were fully booked - you have to be quick! This resort caters for a large number of people so is rather soulless and requires you to know the wrinkles to get the best out of your stay - like booking things in advance. We also wanted to experience some Greek culture but were not able to in mid April due to lack of English excursions - there seemed to be plenty of German excursions. It seems more are available in the peak summer time. Also the entertainment was rather sparse - again due to being too early in the season. The room was great with space and beautiful views over the Aegean sea. The cleaning team kept the rooms sparkling. The odd thing was that the resort was a an oasis of beauty in a less than beautiful coast line. We went for a walk and were surrounded by feral dogs. We were relieved to get back to the hotel grounds. We suspect this will be better during the summer months. Overall, we had a great, relaxing and pampered time - we would go back.

Room Tip: Determine what you want to do and book early!

We stayed here for my partner's birthday in April 2013.
Where do I start? From the outset we were greeted by staff taking ourbags and swapping them for a chilled champagne drink. A very warm welcome indeed. We were then taken by buggy to room 4204 where we were shown the safe etc by Florin ( a very helpful and cheerful worker)
He went above and beyond to help during our stay.
Once settled in,our heavenly stay continued...... What shall we drink erm ??a cocktail ?? or iced coffee, whatever you chose you can rest assured it will be served with a smile.
Staff here from maids to reception/bar staff all intend to please and they succeed in every way.
My partner and I had spa treatments which were 2nd to none.
The pool, although not heated was used by us during our stay,as was the clear agean sea !
The super all inclusive option enabled
us to hire free non motorised water sports and dvd rental . There was bike hire but all booked the day we wanted them , hey ho. We struggled ..... playing cards on the balcony with wine from our well stocked mini bar!!
We ate in the Asian venues and also the Greek as a la carte's on offer during our stay.
The staff in both were soooooooo attentive and friendly. The food in both was amazing but Greek was our fav.
Food in general was 5 star and so was the cleanliness and service within all areas not least the dining area.
The gardens and pools were well maintained and lookied lovely. All staff here seem to work so hard aiming to please in every way. The barman Alex in the adult lounge although very busy , managed service with a smile.
Cotstas needs a special thank you as my phone was lost? stolen whilst I was there and I was escorted to the policestation by him to interpret and sort.
The pool bar was well served as was the beach bar, as I said all staff work so hard. Tanya on reception was very friendly too .
All in all a big thank you to each and every one of the staff and all credit
to the manager for a very very well run ship....well done. We will return.

Room Tip: Some say block 5 , we say block four higher rooms have the sound of the ocean and are the closest t...

Through 'On The Beach' we have managed to have some good communication, regarding our stay at this hotel even before we have gone. My husband suffers from a bad back and I was concerned about this and sleeping arrangements etc. On the Beach have communicated with the hotel and managed to out our mind at rest. They have kept in communication all the time and have waylaid our fears.

Thank you so much we will hopefully have a fantastic relaxing holiday! Sooo looking forward to it
