Just got back from a week at this hotel and to be frank, it is one of the best hotels to visit if you have kids. The staff are excellent and helpful and the facilities are second to none. The location is the only thing that lets this hotel down, with the town being a Greek working town and offering very little for the holidaymaker (except a market once a week). That said, if you want to just relax in the complex, take advantage of the a la carte meals, private beach, great entertainment, all you can eat and drink as well as letting your kids have a great time, then look no further. The only thing that ruined our stay was the persistent individual who kept pooing in the pool and making the staff close it to clean it up.

Absolutely fabulous.

We have just returned from a two-week stay at the Oceania Club with our two children aged 14 and 9 and can say it was nothing less than amazing. From the champagne and buggy-ride to your room on arrival the service was second to none. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well furnished and the minibar was well-stocked daily - even with wine! We were in a junior suite with a camp and sofa bed for the kids. Although this didn't entitle us to use of the deluxe pool, this wasn't a problem as we prefered to be around the main pool anyway. The entertainment staff, prodominatly english, were good and by no means 'pushy', however we found it not as good as in previous years, but that comes down to a minor moan. That said, there were daily activities for all the family, and shows put on at night. Having read on here previously about the evening show 'We will rock you' we decided to give it a go. It was to a very high standard, but may have been a little long for some. We also enjoyed the 'Mamma Mia' show and pool party, which unfortunately was on our last night. Food was excellent, with a wide-range for everyone. The themed nights added good variety. Service in all the bars, restaurants and around the pool was brilliant, the staff could not do enough for you. You only had to lift your head from your sunbed and someone was there offering you a drink. Definitely 5-star. The nearby resort of Nea Moundania offered some small souvenier shops and bars, and although it's nothing to special, it's worth a look on the free shuttle bus. If you get bored of the spotlessly clean pool and pool service, take a walk down to the equally clean beach, where yet again there is waiter service offering drinks! Here you can have a go on a pedaloe or canoe free of charge, or there are some watersports avaliable. Overall, the hotel was extremely clean and modern, with plently to do and coming-back to the service you really couldn't fault it. There is hardly anything to complain about, we wish we were going back tommorow! We reccommend the hotel to most who are looking for a enjoyable but relaxing holiday break, kids included.

If you are thinking of going, go it is well worth the visit.
My hubby and I went from the 31st July to the 14th August 2008 for two weeks, our daughter, son in law and granddaughter aged 5 joined us on the 7th August to the 21st August 2008 for two weeks.
The food was first class and plenty of it .Always fresh for breakfast, dinner and evening meals. Plenty of variety ( I am a fussy eater) they even had a kids corner food area if they needed it. Even the individual restaurants, Italian,Asian and Greek.
The staff could not do enough for you , very friendly, helpful and polite. As for cleanliness you could have eaten of the floors. Even the toilets near the pool area were spotless.
We had a seaview room with balcony, very spacious and very clean.
If there were any draw backs. I would say only the beach let it down a little if you are a beach person. It was gritty and a little rocky at first to get into the sea. But if you are like us and prefer the pool to the beach you will not be disappointed.
We would like to thank all the staff for making our holiday first class...
Which is more than can be said for theThomas Cook representative..Who? Exactly!!!
IT WELL DESERVES ITS RATING THANKS TO ALL ITS STAFF.

Absaloutly fantastic hotel. Staff are all willing and pleased to serve you at this All Inclusive Hotel. From the reception staff to the porters, they were all excellent. Food was excellent too. Only small complaint was the shower was not very powerful in our room although the room was very clean and the mini-bar was topped up every day with juice, water, wine and beer (all drink was free). It is a 15 - 20 minute walk to the town which is a bit of a dump but will be fine when it's finished in a couple of years and there is a shuttle bus every 30 minutes. There were a lot of kids and as we had just come off an adults only cruise this was a shock but I guess it was the start of the school holidays. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We visited this wonderful hotel for a week between 31st July 2008 to 7 August 2008.

We stayed in a Junior Suite Deluxe which was very clean and contemporary. The sea views were amazing when we opened our curtains each morning. The room was large with a separate sleeping area for our son. We arrived to find a lovely fruit basket, white wine red wine and champagne. What more could you ask for. The mini bar formed part of the AI and was replenished every day.

The food in the hotel was excellent and the choice was out of this world. AI means AI at this hotel and you are not restricted to local drinks. You can get branded name drinks and cocktails all day long.

Being in a deluxe JS meant that we had the use of the Suite pool. There was a pool bar which served hot snacks, Greek Salads from 11am until 6pm. Only people who booked a deluxe room or suite could use these facilities. This pool was a lot quieter than the main affinity pool where the daily activites took place.

The hotel staff are the friendliest I have ever come across and I would credit the management by saying they have got everything 100% spot on when it comes to cleanliness and customer care.

I have been to many AI resorts including Barbados and the Maldives but this was the best.

We will definately be returning to this hotel in 2009 as it was faultless. If you book this hotel you will not be disappointed. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.

We (2 adults, 2 children age 6) have just returned from a stay at the Oceania Club and are full of praise for the entire trip.

We only stayed a week and felt that this was just the right amount of time lounging about in the sun. Any longer and I probably would have been bored - through no fault of the hotel - I just prefer a more active holiday. Local area not up to much, however there is the option of hiring a car to explore further.

We travelled with first choice and went on the excursion to the Water park, quite expensive (£110) it is only when you leave the hotel and experience places outwith do you fully appreciate how clean and friendly the Oceania club is. After sitting on hard plastic chairs, trying to have a conversation over very loud music from the Water park speakers Mum & Dad were ready to leave by lunch time...... kids however loved it.

We used the kids club quite a lot, staff were really good with the kids and they made plenty of friends. They take the kids in the morning, 1000-1300 the afternoons, 1500-1800 and there are organised night time events suitable for little ones. This was a god send it meant Mum & Dad got plenty of time to relax and top up their tan.

Food is as everyone else has described, we never had any problems booking into the 3 restaurants, kids preferred the main restaurant as they could eat as much as they wanted.

We upgraded to the deluxe suites and would reccommend this. There is not much difference to the rooms, however as we travelled during August the hotel was very busy and unless you sat on a sunbed by 10 in the morning it proved very difficult getting a sunbed, always a space at the deluxe pool, quieter and fantastic service didn't have to move off my lounger once to top up my drink.

Beach as described by others not the best, not child friendly, however plenty of lounges for chilling and listening to the sounds of the waves.

It has been mentioned before however, please if you have limited mobility then this hotel is not for you, to get to anywhere within the complex it involves steps and steep hills, great for me as it meant I was having a workout therefore I was allowed dessert each night !

We can honestly not fault anything about our stay, so go ahead and make that booking you will not be disappointed.

Really don't like all inclusive hotels but after staying at the Oceania last year it was so good we went back again this year. Still excellent service and staff, food, drink',entertainment excellent. We have a 4 and 7 year old who had a wonderful time.
I would say that it is definitely a family hotel.
