Very nice family and really good service; quiet place, good beds. The family will advise you on any questions that may arise during your trip. Have met there other nice people from all over the world. The guest house is an ideal base for touristic stays as well as for business and scientific trips.

I stayed here for two weeks and had such an amazing experience. The house is beautiful on the inside and out, immaculately clean and modern, and the family of four is just wonderful. Breakfast was fantastic every morning, and the location is great. Jifna is a picturesque Christian village very close to Ramallah. You can easily take the shared taxi van into Ramallah for about $1 US.

One added bonus of Christian areas of Palestine: alcohol is plentiful and not considered taboo : ) There ended up being three of us American academics staying there at the same time, and there is plenty of desk room in the house if you need to get work done as well as Wifi. We pretty much had our own floor that included a kitchen and a large lounge area.

I absolutely recommend staying here over a hotel. You cannot get a decent hotel in the Ramallah area for this price, and you'll have an entirely different experience staying with a Palestinian family, though I never once felt like an awkward visitor in someone's home. I will definitely stay here again!

If you haven't been to Palestine yet, you need to get here as fast as you can! It's one of the most amazing places I've ever been, and it's perfectly safe. It's hard not to fall in love with the country. I shall return this summer!

I stayed in this guest house for 10 days over Christmas. I wanted to learn about Palestine and this is the perfect base from which to do this. The family were very friendly and welcoming and even invited me to their family celebrations (where I ate a delicious meal of traditional Palestinian food). They clearly have a lot of experience of hosting guests from overseas who want to learn about Palestine, and can help you to arrange numerous different activities. They have lots of friends and connections in Palestine which they put me in touch with, so that you feel that you are learning about the real place and not just the typical tourist destinations. Rowda and Issa were also always on hand to provide practical advice on things like how to get around, where to go, etc. They can also take you on tours of various popular tourist sites.

The guesthouse itself is in a beautiful building. The room and bathroom facilities were simple but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple, healthy and tasty. The guesthouse is in a small, pretty village called Jifna just outside Ramallah, but it is very easy to reach Ramallah by bus so it is easily accessible.

I had a fantastic time and hope to return there before long. All in all, if you want to learn about Palestine and experience what life is really like for Palestinian people, this is an excellent place to stay.

Room Tip: All the rooms are clean and comfortable. Downstairs rooms are warmer in winter.

A welcoming family with a beautiful house in a lovely village in easy reach of Ramallah by taxi. This is a great place for lone visitors or groups. The family have lots of experience and made our stay with them extra special. The basement room is best, but top floor rooms have a shared kitchen. The roof top terrace has a lovely view.

Myself and my girlfriend spend three nights at the guesthouse and found the place accommodating, homely and also very convenient. We went on a tour with Issa (and his friend Rosufult) to Hebron and Bethlehem which only cost us around £65 each. This included a tour of the Old City in Hebron, introductions to a peace group working there as well as visits to the Ibrahami Mosque; we also went to Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem as well as seeing the Wall etc. For an entire day trip the above price is fantastic, and would have been even less had there been more of us as it is only charged on distance and not time and expertise. Jifna is a wonderful place to explore the rest of the West Bank and it is clear that Rawda and Issa are perfectly placed to help you do that as well as helping you to understand the Palestinian struggle. A fantastic initiative and I hope other Palestinian families follow suit.

Again I spent a wonderful time in the Khouriya Guest House. It is becoming a sort of second home. Quality is still the same: attentive, warm hosts, very pleasant atmosphere, tasty food, and pretty good accommodation.
It is a beautiful building, can host 15 people, parking space, possibilities to make excursions with host/guide/driver Issa throughout the West Bank.
Prices are very very reasonable; price/quality rate is good.
Bear in mind that it is a family hotel, which of course has its charm as well. You are among the people... Not in a fancy business place with stiff waiters, pools and conference rooms....

I have just spent 7 days staying in Jifna with Rowda and Issa. They allowed our Group almost complete "run" of the house with accommodating to peoples tastes and individual needs throughout our stay. The house is particularly designed for Group accommodation-both large and small - with rooms and varying facilities on four floors..
Warmth and acceptance by the hosts to all the guests was first rate.
Local facilities are good and our hoses were very relaxed with our presence in their family home.
