“Best place for caffeine lovers”
Reviewed 3 February 2013

If you are looking for a place in Ramallah to grab a cup of coffee or a bite to go, or if you want to enjoy drinking it outdoors, in one of the most vital streets in the city of Ramallah, Zamn should be a good option. They have a breakfast menu that contains some traditional Palestinian dishes like the Palestinian cheese with Jerusalem toast. The staff are very friendly, but the items are a bit overpriced.

“THE cafe to hang out in the day”
Reviewed 17 September 2012

In the past couple of years, Al-Tireh's Zaman has become the traditional hang out for trendy Palestinians and Western diplomats / journalists / aid workers who live in Ramallah or drive from Jerusalem to have brunch and coffee, Starbucks-style. The place serves better food and drinks than most in Israel, and clearly targets the Western and Westernized crowds - you could be in New York. The main branch is located in Al-Tireh , the neighbourhood where rich people live. There's another branch located in Mayssoun, but the setting is less nice and less trendy. Coffee and food are a bit pricey but top quality.

Starbuck fans can also have coffee at 'Stars and Bucks', another coffee located on the second floor of a mall over Manara square,

“Always the same taste !”
Reviewed 25 August 2012

if you go to Zaman it is to get the coffee the way you like it ! I mean, there will never be a surprising taste because there is this quality product and they look to be always the same.
It is about a "product Zaman" their sandwiches are fine and good! I would advice the Palestinian Cheese not because it is the less expensive (18NIS) but because it comes with a wonderful sauce .... Zaman is really the frame for a quick but nice moment ! totoally good for work meeting if you do not have more than an hour for it ! you have two Zaman in Ramallah ! Al Masyoun very quiet and Al tireh more busy always ! Great place to go !

“Quick and cheerful”

Tried their sandwiches (you get side salads with it)...good coffee...home baked beans. Outdoor seating is nice. Popular with the younger crowd. Refreshing atmosphere.
