“Beautiful cottage in beautiful setting”
Reviewed 20 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

This cottage is stunning. Exactly what we hoped for and needed, and more.
A wonderful base for our first holiday with our puppy where we could walk as much as we wanted in the gorgeous countryside and drive to beaches and villages in the surrounding area. Peaches absolutely loved the chickens, her new doggy friend Poppy, and Nick and Leigh ("Poppy and Peaches on the beaches"!).
We thoroughly enjoyed the much needed rest and break away from the norm. Would recommend Burton Bradstock for the beach and walk, and also if you would like some normal, decent grub at a dog friendly pub, The Green Dragon in the village is worth going to. A very welcoming pub with a nice friendly atmosphere.
Thank you to Nick and Leigh for being such wonderful hosts - we loved our first staycation, we miss you all very much and we cannot recommend you highly enough.
Very best wishes to you all and hope to see you all again.

“Great location and accomodation”
Reviewed 24 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

This is a fantastic holiday let, it is in the middle of the countryside but at the same time is not too remote at all being within about 15 minutes drive of Chard which has a number of shop/supermarkets and places to eat and drink.

The owners are lovely and more than happy to help as much as they can. The cottage is one of two, and is very new and well built with everything you would need for a stay of a week or two.

Highly recommended.

Liked best: The space within it
Liked least: Tyhe narrow lane to it - but this is the West Country!

“Rose Cottage - stunning”
Reviewed 29 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We stayed in the cottage next door to this one, amazing property, immaculate with everything you need, added bonus of secluded location with lots of outside space. Extremely well equipped and comfortable, high standard of cleanliness. Very welcoming owners. Surrounding area is stunning and many attractions in the vicinity. Well worth a stay.

“A somerset cottage with the WOW factor”
Reviewed 10 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We holiday in lots of cottages in the UK but this is the best holiday cottage we've ever stayed in. The cottage is equipped with everything you would need and more, the views from the front door are breath taking and the owners are two of the friendliest, nicest people you're likely to meet.

There are two cottages, we stayed in Bluebell which upstairs has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, bathroom with shower/bath and downstairs an open plan lounge and kitchen and cloakroom. It has a Samsung tv, dvd player, music centre and the wifi works perfectly plus a wood burner for winter months.

Outside you have a patio table and chairs, bench, bbq but the best thing about this cottage is the views, you're surrounded by fields, one has 3 horses you can stroke, one has chickens who love to chat to you lol and the owners who live next door have a friendly lurcher called Poppy who loves to play ball with you.

So when you wake up in the mornings all you can hear is the birds singing, the chickens clucking and the horses neighing, its paradise, trust me.

The cottages are in a little village called called Combe St Nicholas, a few miles from Chard so ideally situated for visiting places like Taunton, Bridgewater, Minehead, Watchet, Burnham-On-Sea, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Honiton, Bridport.

Our favourite place was Burton Bradstock, wonderful views and also we'd recommend you visit the South West Deer rescue centre in Crewkerne, you can get up close to the deer and feed them biscuits.

So a wonderful holiday at Bluebell cottage, thank you Leigh & Nick for making us so welcome, we will be back late Summer.
