“Very friendly and comfortable”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2011

Stayed at Wambrook Farm researching family history. Had a fantastic weekend in the very comfortable Wambrook Farm. Cannot speak highly enough of Sue and John who went out of their way to find out information for our research. They showed us areas of the farm which were relevant to our family and made the whole situation come alive! On top of that very comfortable beds and a fantastic breakfast - what more could we ask for. Want to go back and try the self catering cottage soon.

Most enjoyable stay in a lovely traditional farm house. Our hosts gave us a warm and friendly welcome. The room was comfortable and we were given a delicious full English Breakfast.

The area is unspoilt and is within easy reach of the coast which we felt to be a real bonus. Will definately be back again in the near future.

I have to say this is the best property I have stayed in. I could not find fault with anything.
The property was full of character but at the same time was so home from home with flat screen TV's and woodburning stoves in 2 rooms.
The bed in the master room was so big I lost my husband at one point!
All rooms were tatefully decorated in keeping with the age and style of the property. The kitchen was fantastic for familes as it was very large with a lovely big pine table and and island along with plenty of wrok surfaces for those wnating to cook.
The area was so peaceful and had many beautiful walks on the doorstep and the locals that we met were all very friendly.
I went with my husband and 14 year old daughter and 14 year old niece. My mum who is 70 came along with us as well as my sister and her husband - the 4 of us are all in our 40's. We all enjoyed the break so much that when we got home my husband and daughter were looking to see when we could book again and that has never been known with us as we always like to try different places.
There are various places along the coast to visit within 30 - 45 mins drive but we loved Burton Bradstock and Lyme Regis was also worth a visit.
We had a great time and would certainly recommend to anyone.
