Enjoyed a session at the Spa/ Gym followed by an afternoon tea which was top notch and well served - too much really but we asked for a doggy bag and the tea was plentiful! The grounds are really terrific.

We have happily holidayed at Warner's for years ... But this year we noticed that the variety of food had decreased. They would appear to think we all like queuing for a carvery. We went for a week, and the same daily menu was repeated after the weekend. Dessert menu is the same every night, with one Chef Special. Chips never appeared during the week we were there, very few dishes which were served at the table and on the one night we chose the Chef's choice of calves liver, it was too tough to even get the knife into it. We ended up back at the carvery. No sign of a nice, fresh fish dish. They seem to have standardised menus across all the hotels as we stayed at another Warner's earlier in the year and had the same menus. The entertainment was very good, and the team certainly work very hard. The Jersey Boys Tribute was very good, the comedians too were good, the resident band and it's singer were very good, and the late evening entertainer was brilliant! The buildings and grounds are lovely, our room was very good, but if you have walking problems then you need to be aware that it is a long walk to and from the bedrooms, the Treetops Restaurant and the bar. It is worth going to the church service held on Thursday and Sunday mornings, and a walk around the church and graveyard are an excellent way to learn the history of the area. And its connections to Admiral Lord Nelson. Because of the lack of seating near the bar, we preferred to sit on the patio outside our room and enjoy a quiet drink before going to dinner. Staff were brilliant. Dining room tables are too small to eat in comfort at them, the size of a small pub drinking only table, one complaint we heard many other diners voice. Our favourite Warner's are Holme Lacey House and Littlecote Manor.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms are cooler. We had a patio room and that was really nice. Clean and comfortable.

Just returned home from our "Party in the Park" 5 days at Cricket St Thomas. The entertainment team (Steve, Robyn, James I, Charlotte, Lauren and James II), were brilliant and their shows were very professional. The Hamiltones too, were great with a brilliant singer (sorry can't remember her name). The bank holiday entertainment was great, with visits from Union Gap, Everly Brothers tribute, Freddie Mercury tribute, Rod Stewart tribute and Whitney Houston tribute. Luckily the weather was kind to us, for the party in the park, an outdoor event with a bar, bbq and games. As usual the food was great, and very well presented, our room was good and in a lovely location overlooking the park. Looking forward to returning to Cricket St Thomas in May next year to see Billy Ocean and his band (who we saw at Sinah Warren last year and he was brilliant).

Had a five day holiday here and thoroughly enjoyed the house and grounds. We stayed in the historic suite which was clean and comfortable - so spacious! All staff we met or spoke to were helpful and friendly. Enjoyed all the food and plenty of variety too. Really enjoyed the entertainment during the evenings and also daytime activities were varied. Particularly enjoyed the archery. We most certainly would recommend to friends and want to return soon.

Spent a delightful week at Cricket St Thomas with my husband and elderly father. We all enjoyed the food and the entertainment. The staff were excellent, all extremely friendly and helpful. The setting was delightful, beautiful grounds to walk around or sit and enjoy the view. Loads to do or simply absorb the peace and quiet. Would definItely go again. Loved it.

Room Tip: We had ground floor rooms with a patio in the courtyard, attached to the main house, which suited us...

This is our third visit to Cricket St Thomas.
The check in procedure needs some organising as had to wait 20 minutes for 2 disorganised females to establish what they were doing.
The room was as we expected although it could have done with sprucing up - net curtain dirty & bedroom carpet grubby.
The entertainment team were very good & as always Neil Graham was brilliant.
The service in the restaurant was generally good although on occasions there was a delay. We were given a table in an accessible area for both of us.
However we would of liked to have been given a choice of which restaurant we could dine in.
The leisure facilities were improved from our last visit, although sadly the small steam train that used 2 run through the grounds has been discontinued as that used to run through some lovely scenery.
