Where to begin... I'll start with the positive. Great setting and views. Let's move on to the less positive. Our hotel (Mykonos Blu) made us a reservation for dinner (early for Mykonos at 8:15 pm). Buddha Bar declared they didn't have a reservation. Not a problem insomuch as the way it was handled by their staff. They made it awkward for us, frankly embarrassing. We waited at the bar and the barman asked what we'd like to drink and I said two Aperol spritz. He smirked and just managed to keep from doing an eye roll, so much so that I called him out on it. Eventually we were seated in the cheap seats, next to a couple who had a shisha - they puffed away for our entire meal. I've no problem with the couple in question but with the staff for seating us next to them. We were rushed into ordering and our starters appeared within about 5/7 minutes - too quick. Our main courses were expensive and devoid of joy; deeply average albeit not in price, also our meals were tepid. Our wine was €150 but costs about £25 from Majestic. This is a busy time of the season for Mykonos but that doesn't excuse the woeful performance of this venue and staff. Try harder. For reference our meal cost €335 plus tip for two people.
