Best Western Premier Amaranth Suvarnabhumi Airport

As this is a Best Western Premier hotel, you'd expect nothing but the best. While that was normally the case here, an issue did occur when one of my travel companions had an allergic reaction from the food being served at the hotel restaurant even after we had taken the time to explain the allergy and presented the waiter a card in Thai that explained the allergy more thoroughly. Of course this is Thailand, so we knew to expect risks, but the waiter seemed completely passive about the issue and didn't seem to care that my friend had to go to the hospital. Other than this it was a nice hotel to stay at, but I was disappointed by this issue.

Needed a quick overnight before our AM flight out of Bangkok and thought this would be the perfect hotel - however

- its quite far away from the airport (15 mins) and the shuttle bus does not wait for you, so if you miss one, you have to wait for another half hour to get on another.

- no wifi connection in the room even though this was included as a facility

- multiple insects in the room, including a monstrous giant beetle like ant thing! 0_0

- horribly itchy sheets, forced to sleep on top of the towels provided instead for some level of comfort

Completely grossed out and wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Paid about $60 per night, and was pleasantly surprised on how wonderful the hotel was. There is a free shuttle from the Airport to the hotel. The staff was friendly, check in went smoothly and was given a free welcome drink voucher. The rooms were surprisingly big, and also very clean. I'd would stay here again.

Last night l stayed at the Best Western Amatanth, it is ideally situated to the airport, the hotel have a free bus shuttle operating until 02.30am from the airport which was ideal as l only landed at 11.30pm, the representative at the airport was easy to find, and the hotel is only a 20 minute ride from the airport
The rooms are spacious and clean, they serve an excellent breakfast buffet and operate a free shuttle service to the airport from 04.30 am, the staff are well trained and very helpful, l will definitely stay here again when l am staying overnight in Bangkok

I was pleasantly surprised how great this hotel was. I usually associate Best Western with basic, generic and outdated but Amaranth is everything but, it's fantastic! The lobby is a large, modern space. The service was A1 by all staff in every department; so friendly and hospitable - true Thai hospitality! My room was modern and very clean. It was large with a kingsize bed, a balcony and a generous bath. The room service food was delicious, offered a great range and had decent portion sizes. I had a massage and maspa, although very pricey for Thailand (1hr Thai massage & 1/2 hr scalp massage was 2600TB/$85). It was still cheaper than in Australia and better quality! I was happy to pay for the convenience and the massage was incredible - worth every cent to relax my jet lagged body! I got an excellent deal on wotif $80 AU for one night including return airport transfer- very reasonable compared to other airport hotels in the area and much more luxurious! They had a wonderful pool and fitness centre however I did not have the time to use them during my short stay. My only regret is that I wish I could've stayed longer!

There are many airport hotels in Bangkok with relative cheap rate, yet Best Western Premier Amaranth is comparatively expensive however you can receive a superior service and sleeping quality.
Normally I chose to stay in those USD40/night airport hotel for transit purpose. This time I treated myself better so choosing USD80/night Best Western Premier for both my arrival night and leaving Bangkok night. Free shuttle service from Suvarnabhumi Airport which was reliable even we arrived at midnight and curfew was enforced.
It took 15mins to arrive the hotel. The hotel lobby is large and modern. We checked in with the hotel voucher but unfortunately hotel staff said our package did not include breakfast even though we booked for premier club room.
We got the room in seventh floor. The room is spacious enough and decorated nicely. Free wifi provided with reliable connection.
On the next day, we went around inside the hotel. We found there is spa and fitness centre, swimming pool, etc. facilities. We also took the shuttle back to airport for getting the rented car.
On the next visit before leaving Bangkok, we stayed in here again to avoid any unstable situation in the city centre. There is a very large shopping mall named MEGA BANGNA which is just 10mins drive from hotel (or there is free shuttle from Mega Bangna to & from hotel). I highly recommended to take a visit there as the mall is really large with plenty of shops and restaurants.
We did not use the shuttle service back to airport as we rented a car and it took around 15mins to airport.
