The ambiance is what you are really after to in this place. You could feel the breeze in your body. Don't go here during the the rainy days as it may not be a good experience for you. Opt for dinner time, to make your visit more relaxing. Of course, the food are not to be questioned. You better be sure to come before dinner time as there are a lot of tourists who wants the same thing as you do... the Lantaw experience!

If you're looking for a chill out place, this could be it. The food is average, nothing great (visited several times). On several occasions, service is still an issue. Last time I visited, the lady seemed to be picky with the guests. Oh well, who knows what her day was.

Had a very nice time with my family. Location is isolated, better if you can get your cab waiting for some extra money. Beacuse its difficult to find another cab back to hotel. staffs are helpful. We loved the seafood. Clam soup was very salty .
View was very nice, just get their before sunset .

We ordered several different dishes to try. The meat and seafood tasted old and over cooked. The staff was not rude, but not friendly at all. Great views and sunset is wonderful, but I would not go for a full meal.

Lantaw is busy little restaurant built on stilts that provides a great view of Cebu, especially at night. We found that the food was a little above average, the beer cold and the view even better.

I would agree with some of the other reviewers that you may want to pay a taxi to wait for you. You can also ask the restaurant to call a taxi for you, which is what we did...but we had to wait a little while (Lantaw is not the most accessible place on Mactan).

We enjoyed our experience and would return if we come back to Mactan.
