We stayed here for a week with 12 adults and 4 children. The villa is set up perfectly with each bedroom having their own bathroom (other than the family suite in the villa which shares a full bathroom). It is well furnished and contains everything needed for a week away - including CBeebies! There has been comments regarding the plastic glasses but as its only the glasses this didn't bother us as it saved the risk of smashes glasses by the pool (especially as it was a little windy). We used the local supermarket suggested by Su to order food to arrive shortly after we did, this saved a trip to the supermarket with 4 very tired children. The town of Torre de Mar is a nice balance of catering for tourists without being too touristy. It has a selection of bars and restaurants along the sea front which serve delicious food without being too overpriced. We had a car for a week which i would recommend as although the villa is probably walkable from the town it is up hill on the way back! Su the villa owner was very accommodating and helpful in helping us organise our week away. Would definitely recommend this villa for a fun relaxing week away.

We rented this villa for a new year's family holiday (14 adults, 2 children, 3 babies), and everyone left happy.
The villa is well thought out and has lots of space (and the rooms are not all grouped together) so even a rather large group are not on top of each other all the time. There is a separate playroom by the pool, which was good to get the children running around (winter time). There is also a table tennis terrace area which we managed to cordon off to make it toddler safe.
There are a number of steps between entrance and pool and villa.
The terrace is very well suited for outdoor dining.
The owner was very responsive, accomodating, and we solved issues together efficiently. (before, during and after the holiday)
We found the location convenient for going to Malaga but also Granada. (car)
Finally, the silence was impressive. It is far enough from any road to be really peaceful (at least during the week we were there), which we realised after a few days is a real plus.
We would (and may well!) return without hesitation.
Lastly: my constructive suggestions: a few new pots and pans and a plastic covering for the big table.

We booked a week at the villa for my 40th Bithday. We travelled as a group of 11 adults and two babies. The villa is a short drive from the airport and relatively easy to find. A beautiful location up in the hills which provides peace and quiet and stunning views. We cooked/barbecued most nights and all enjoyed sitting out in the evenings eating, drinking and relaxing. The pool is perfect and a great temperature without needing to be heated. Plenty of large supermarkets a short drive away and the villa has lots of fridge and freezer space to keep everything cool. Torre del Mar is a very short drive as is Velez Malaga. Which means a great beach, shopping, bars and restaurants are all available to enjoy. Even some of the larger resorts are not far down the coast so easily reached for a day trip. You will need a car to get around but there is ample parking outside the villa and in the towns.
We didn't leave the villa as often as we thought we would but it was because we enjoyed being there so much!
Our first villa holiday and we all agree that for a group of people it's far better than being in a hotel.

Our second visit to España Escape was as good, if not better than our first visit three years ago. We went with the same 15 members of our family and we all enjoyed ourselves enormously. We loved the much improved kitchen and bathrooms. Su and Sam and their sons are delightful. They were on the spot promptly if needed but otherwise left us alone. The gardens and pool are lovely with loads of space for everyone. Table tennis was very popular. We can't fault España Escape and hope to be able to return some time in the not too distant future.

Beautiful pool area perfect for children.

Only 5 min drive to Torre Del Mare beaches and 15 min drive to the beautiful town Nerja.
