It's a bit 'Berni Inn' if you know what I mean but food was lovely and not too expensive. You order at the bar and the food comes quickly so perfect if, like me, you hate waiting to be served. It's a big place and seemed family friendly

We decided to go here for sunday lunch after hearing a lot of good reports. It was a sunny day and the pub was quite quiet and thankfully nice and cool compared to the heat outside.
First impressions were very good, the staff were busy (rather than standing around with folded arms) the pub was clean etc but we were surprised by the limited menu.
We chose Scampi and chips and although it came very promptly it was bland, it tasted like the frozen scampi you get from the supermarket, the chips were quite tasteless, it was ok but at nearly £12 I thought it was overpriced.
The staff however were very good, friendly and quick to clear tables etc. Based on the service I will definitely return but perhaps during the week when the menu will hopefully be more varied.

This place is lovely. Food is great. The pub belongs to a chain but the menu is more upmarket than other pub fayre. When we went it was lunch time and quiet, but the staff were attentive and not overly so. The place is beautifully clean and comfortable and a big bonus to us was the disabled toilet and other facilities were clean and fully accessible.
