We booked this hotel for 1 night through booking.com which quoted us €87 per night without breakfast when we arrived at hotel we were total it was Stg £75 per night and Stg £9 each for breakfast if required. We were going to stay another night but ended up leaving around 7pm and
was charged Stg £80 plus Stg £18 must have thought we were having breakfast even though we did not even stay the Sunday night we checked out at 7pm on Sunday and was charged a total of Stg £191.00 which will end up around €250 for one night and breakfast. I would not have minded a late check out fee but to charge us breakfast and did not even stay the night - not very good value for anyone. I am trying to request a refund for breakfast and negotiate some credit for room that was not used Sunday from 7pm. Check with hotel before you travel - my advise

From the outside Curran Court is very unappealing both in location between roads leading to the ferry terminal and the dated building itself. However inside was much better having been refurbished. Our room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast was served in the dining room and was well presented. The man on the desk was helpful in directing us to a place for dinner. A large supermarket is over the road if you need supplies.

We stayed here overnight with a small baby prior to taking the ferry the following morning. The staff could not have been more helpful, and the room was spotless, warm, and just what we needed. Much exceeded our expectations - we would not hesitate to return.

Stayed at the Curran Court Hotel on the night of 10th October whilst on business in Larne.
This is an excellent modern hotel with superb rooms with a shower cubicle in my room that you could run around in and a power shower that really wakes you up in the morning.
The room was very clean and tidy and very well appointed with all the usual requirements including a well stocked tea and coffee tray.
The food was first class with portions that are not for those on a diet. I had the Gourmet burger for the evening meal and this was excellent. Breakfast was good and I had a lovely piece of cod, which may seem an odd choice for breakfast but with wheaten bread and poached eggs it was a great way to start the day.

We stayed one night at the Curran and were very pleased with the room, the convenience to to the ferry and especially the dinner. After a harrowing drive to Larne, we decided to stay in for dinner. The dinner was one of the best we had in Ireland. We were very pleasantly surprised with both the quantity of the food and the excellent quality. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and efficient. The following morning, we were up very early and were so grateful to be just minutes away from the ferry entrance. Good decision to stay there rather than Belfast and drive down so early. The only negative was the noise from the trucks going on and off the ferry on the road right by our window. But, that stopped before late at night.

Room Tip: Great place to stay before taking the ferry to Scotland.

We didn't stay here, but came for dinner with a friend who was visiting from England. We hadn't been for some time as on our previous visit I had called to ask if I needed to book as it was a Saturday and was told no. However on arrival we had to wait three quarters of an hour for a table and I thought service was rushed. This time I did call ahead even though it was a Monday and we timed it to arrive at about 6.30, when some families with young children were finishing, and ahead of later diners. We were shown to our table immediately by a very courteous mature waitress, who asked me if I was wearing Clinique Aromatics Elixir. I was! Our friend had the Mushroom Stroganoff, I had Salmon and my husband had Scampi. All were generous helpings, and service was attentive and unobtrusive. All were pronounced excellent, and the wine we chose was good quality and not overpriced. We have decided to go again the night before our upcoming holidays !

We stayed here for 3 nights in July. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, interested and a good sense of humor. My husband had to visit a doctor and they were very good at recommending one for him--nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was served by a lovely lady and it was enormous--so much choice. We never are again till evening. We had come over from the mainland which was why we chose it and it was ideal for exploring upwards one day and downwards the next. A good expereince
