“If you like farming and traditions, this is a wonderful place.”

Norwegian Museum of Horticulture
Reviewed 30 January 2014

This is a charming view of life in another time, and a much different place. Farming in Southern Norway was never easy (look around at all that dark gray rock). Being able to get insight into life of the area, and be able to see how things where done "there" in a place, how things where adapted and polished is amazing. This is a museum that shows you the tools and a way of life, it is not there to entertain you with tracker pulls and pig races, it is a picture of life from another time, and how it has matured until now.
