Stayed here 15/9/13 - 29/9/13 (2Adults and 2Children). Arrived 11.30 - 12pm (midnight). On arrival quickly checked in and headed straight to our room. We had 2 single beds a camp bed and a sofa bed. Sofa bed uncomfortable couldn't sleep on it as there was a wooden plank down the middle and the mattress on the camp bed was really thin you could feel the springs. I went back to reception and the pleasant gentleman told me this would be sorted out first thing in the morning as the maintenance men were not there at that time. I attended the welcome meeting the next day and Stu the rep was aware of the bed situation and told us it would be sorted that day. Sure enough when we went back to the room it was sorted out and this was the start of our fab holiday! The maid was very friendly she came in everyday and changed bedding and towels (not a Sunday as this was her day off) room was left spotless. Pool area was also very clean and tidy, . Always sunbeds available also umbrella's, around pool is very relaxing. Water in pool is shaded by 4pm which is great for kids to stay out that hot sun! Nadia and Costas in the restaurant were lovely. Very helpful and also Nadia was very good welcoming with my two daughters, my six year old loves her and says she is the thing she misses most. Food in the restaurant was lovely, no complaints at all. People would travel in their cars and park outside to come and eat here. Also when we were by the pool they would come out and give everyone a free slush (the yellow is lemon and the red is rose - tastes like Turkish delight mmmmmm). From the hotel: Approximately 500 yards to the beach.... McDonalds just round the corner.....Flora's Cocktail bar at top of street 2euro a pint / cocktail. Turn left at top of street to main strip, trampolines next to mini golf 6euro for 5mins - great with kids learn them back and front flips. Top of street turn right to Magic Water Show - don't pay and go in, go to the 4th floor of hotel and watch from the corridor window (26 euro per adult, 16euro per child for water show plus drinks on top - not worth this money and pleased a guest at the hotel recommended we watched from upstairs, as if I had of paid I would have been disappointed. It is good but not worth that money). One thing I will recommend if you do have children is the Black Pearl Pirate Ship in Ayia Napa (not the one down the road) We paid 78 euro booked through the rep Stu and it was a fantastic day! Kids loved it and it was well worth the money!! If you get a chance go to Famagusta (not red top bus). We booked through a shop on the strip, it was 25 euro per adult. The driver on the bus was a resident from Famagusta and was able to tell us a lot of personal stories and also knew his way around like the back of his hand going down a lot of side streets and back alleys which the red bus tour doesn't, we stopped in the orange groves and we were able to pick out own oranges from the trees. We went on the Submarine glass bottom boat, this was also brilliant! The captain of the boat dives into the sea and feeds the fish, he also let the kids drive the boat and was happy for pictures to be taken, he was singing and dancing and made the trip really worth while this was 10euro per adult and 5euro per child (infants FREE).
Overall Great Hotel! Ideal walking distance to everywhere! To get to Ayia Napa it is 1 euro 50 cents on the bus each.
If you go here, don't forget a washing line and pegs lol - we forgot these however that lovely hot sun dried our clothes draped on the table and chairs on the balcony in no time.

My wife and me stayed aty tropical dreams, for the second time,we,were in room 413,which had a brilliant view looking down the main street to the harbour, and beach.the room was well equipped, the maid service was excellent, and nothing was a problem if you asked her for something.the pool area was very clean and spacious, the pool was cleaned every morning.the on site restaurant was great the staff were friendly, and costas, who remembered us from 4years ago, nothing was a problem, and his slush drinks in the afternoon were very welcome as the heat was intense(free).the whole experience at these apartments was again first rate and would use them again I would also recommend, these apartments

Room Tip: ask for a room on 4th floor, facing the harbour/beach
